Not bad (if you can stand the looks). At $30K+ for the JCW version, however, there are just too many good alternatives out there. If I just had to go Mini, however, I'd get the S sedan instead and end up with a better looking car that's much more practical, almost as fast, and costs five grand less.

I saw one at my local dealer that was black with a red roof and stripes. It looked fantastic!

A bit clattery at idle (DI?) but it sure sounds pretty rally when you get on it...
