I had the pleasure of listening to & meeting Arvel Bird & Kimberley at the Mohican Indian Pow-Wow, Mohican State Park, on the Mohican River & 7 miles south of Loudenville, Ohio, last summer(2010). I love Arvel's music. I would love to see a concert with different genres combined on one stage; Arvel Bird, Johnny Hernandez, Valentina Estrada, Vince Gill, Gladys Knight...it would be an awesome concert! Would love seeing everyone enjoyinng a cup of Cafe Don Vittorio, gourmet coffee from Costa Rica.

Arvel Bird just performed at the Ganondagan Native American Dance & Music Festival on July 25-26, 2009 and what an exceptional performer he is! He had the standingroom only crowd in the palm of his hands with his music and storytelling. Nya:weh (Thanks!), Arvel, and thanks for taking this Festival over the top!
Hello, TravelMaven - thank you for your kind comments. We love going to Ganondagan. Wish I had some video of this one. It was a terrific crowd! He'll be performing with the Rochester Chamber Orchestra in May. We should have the date and info up on his website soon! Thank you!
BTW, are you a travel agent, or just a travel maniac like us?
My name is Brad Bird , my father is cree and my mom german. I also was raised without knowledge of my roots , Ive tried to tell my 7 kids about what I have found but they are not interested :(
I just discovered Arvel Bird. I have his new CD. It is just the most beautiful music . I was blessed to have met him. My journey begins now. This is so exciting .
Hello, I fell asleep last night listening to the CD that you gave me in Perrysburg! I must say I was honored to have met you and Kimberly over this last few days! You will have the photos as soon as I can get to a PC that will let me download from my camera these here at the Library my only source to the internet. A friend said I can use his home PC as soon as we can get together!
BIASED!!! Biassed Hell Kim (Ha-Ha) I've seen a movement from the upcoming Tribal Music Suites as you know. Arvel's going where no one can follow. Even Old Johnny and the Devil, with or without that golden fiddle can't hang with this!!!
Nice or sexy .The Luxury Woman Of the Millenium....One of a kind outfits and personality!!! Cuz i am hot and willing to fulfill your wishes. After all life is short, we have to make it good and pick as much fun as we can. come visit me at Play-Cam (.COM) my user-id there is Alexandra-sfkl chat soon on cam :) wqtsdj
Exceptional musician and storyteller. I enjoy his work so much, I own all of his music. Always a delight to see him live at Pow-Wow's. Very personable and approachable. May God bless and protect you and Kim in your travels around the world as you bless others with your gifts.
You are so sweet, Pow Wows are still Arvel's very favorite venues because so many people who come are there to learn and listen and also enjoy all of the entertainers. Thank you for the blessings, we are having a BLAST!
Wow, that was awesome!!! Arvel you are wonderful and Kim, as was said here, the woman behind the man... SO SO glad he did drag you. You are both so loved. You are both so much a part of "Echoes" now. Would not be the same if you didn't come. Love to you both, Tess
He really is awesome. When he approached Arvel with the idea, we thought, "What??", but as it unfolded, we saw it was a perfect union of kindred spirits between Bill and Arvel. Alex Cameron REALLY brought it to life and pulled it all together with his commentary. He's amazing, too.
One of the most unique instrumentalists in our country, maybe the world, but it goes much deeper than that. His stories are also about hope, peace and unity- and are part of that positive change that is taken ahold of the nation. Arvel is part of that wave, taking his message all over the nation and soon international..
Hey Linda, we're very proud to be coming back to Stone Mountain in November. It's where he got his biggest break in Pow Wows. A tremendous crowd with some of the nation's top vendors and really good organization!
Wow, what a wonderful video! I too have been an Arvel Bird fan since I first saw him at the Denver Indian Market 2 years ago (Hi weezey!) And of the new band, 2 old friends joined him and Chris, so I am thrilled to hear them all together! A moving and touching video. Thanks for posting.
Hey, Katie! Well, things have changed since you posted this comment, but we're proud to have you (and your son) as fans! Hopefully we'll be back next year.
THis video is fantastic. I have been an Arvel Bird Fan since the first time I saw him at the Denver Indian Market 2 years ago. Now I have become a fan of the band he started - One Nation. This video really shows how talented Arvel Bird is. He can make that violin pour out so many different moods and variations of music. Great job of the videographer.....
Arvel is well on his way to "changing the way" human beings view each other, our planet, our animals and what we should feel in our hearts!- He has brought to us the real meaning as to what we need to learn in life and how to respect it. You will be blessed by his music- he will always be remembered as someone who DID make a difference. What a legacy to leave- what a musician, what a remarkable man. Change is coming, and it is Good- Arvel will be leading the march!
A great man and spirit. Has come along way from "Draggin The Bow" and to think it was a Red Hawk feather that was braided with the hair back in the 80's.!!! Way to go Arvel and most of all Kim.
Arvel dragged me along kicking and screaming for the first few years. Yes, I finally came around, but he's always had the vision and dreams, not just for he and I, but for the animals. He's my own inspiration and now I book him so I can watch him often and I manage his life so that I can help him get to where he needs to be!!! Thank you!
looking forward to see you all again...hugs
