  • also in case this is confusing, if you are able to use the transpose feature on the keyboard, you can play the same chords that the guitarists are playing ie the chords on the sheet. If you don't have the feature you must do the transposition by hand marking out the old chords and putting the transposed ones or transposing in your head as your playing.

  • To answer your question gracie if your keyboard has a transpose feature you can determine the amount of transpositon by which fret the capo is on on the guitar so if the first fret = +1 second fret = +2. If you don't have a transposition feature you must move each chord up a half step per each step up the capo is on the board so if you had a b and the capo is on the 3rd fret you will move the B 3 half steps up to D, and you do this with every chord in the song.

  • This was a long time ago, when I get a new camera I will make a better version of this with my new keyboard, I have played in several bands since this and have learned a lot.
