  • It's our own fault. Once we sat back and allowed the supreme court to "deny" personhood to certain human beings - ie children in the womb - we, at the very same time, opened the door to the supreme court being empowered to "bestow" personhood on something that isn't actually a person. There's your slippery slope. The supreme court now has the power to deny or bestow personhood upon whoever or whatever it wants. We, the people, let it happen and now we whine about it? You reap what you sow.

  • Corporations must educate for the jobs of the future. They can't complain that there is no talent out there to fulfill the job requirements without creating schools to educate those who would like to work for a large corporation.

Where are the posters? Where is the outcry from corporations to locate, entice, and welcome fresh "blood" to the work force?

  • Seems corporations would love for Americans to be HAPPY with low incomes and barely survival standards ... quoting, "the poor have always been among us" ... the rich must have the opportunity to start over ... the poor should have a chance to enter the journey to the top.

  • Think of those poor Chinese factory workers who are HAPPY to work 12 hours after breakfast consisting of a biscuit and a cup of tea - after a RESTFUL NIGHT sleeping in a camp with 8,000 people on cots. Wonder how many potties there are for all those who would like to brush their teeth, and take care of refreshing their bodies with showers, and the like?

  • OCCUPY THEIR MINDS about the move to amend the constitution, then to make clear that corporations cannot arm-twist the rest of us who are fighting for voting equity, workers’ bargaining rights, equal pay for equal work, medical insurance, fair re-numeration of employers and employees, fair use of water and land, electricity, and other reserves of the planet earth.

  • @EngineersLogic Yes they can advertize all the want but they could no longer disproportionately finance candidates campaigns or Propositions.

  • The real America!

  • Keep fighting the good fight K.C. Actions like these help to educate people about Citizens United. and what a monstrous decision it was.

  • keep the good work thanks for your video my friend hugs &peace isis♥

  • Folks Push for contribution caps, max contribution for individuals, companies, organizations $5,000 this will kill the cooperate advantage for there is far more of us than there is of them. And Keep up the great work folks!

  • @BaphometRex666 Corporations and people already have caps on what they may contribute to a candidate, and citizen united does NOT define corporations as people, that's nonsense. However...corporations are free to spend their own money on whatever they want. If they chose to spend their own money on advertising...for or against anything they want...they can, its their money. They did NOT give it to a candidate. It's freedom or fascism, take your pick.

  • Keep up the good work, you oviously have a lot of passon and I support your efforts!

  • I support all of you. Keep up the good fight. THIS LAND IS OUR LAND!

  • Move to to amend

  • Unfortunately, it has been a "buy out" for some time. Before corporate personhood it was elites with monopolies. Yes the Orwellian mind-fuck with phrases like, "money is speech" is highly dangerous. I hope we continue to differentiate between the two, and never give in to the con!! It makes me proud to see people from my city not being apathetic. Let them claim we are jingoistic. This will not immobilize us.

  • There is no such thing as corporate personhood, that's an absurd talking point that has basis in reality. And nobody is calling money free speech, but the message they choose to broadcast through various advertising mediums, using their own money to pay for air time or ad space, is speech. They aren't giving money to the candidate, they're spending their own money on a message they choose to communicate on their own behalf. Stop the lies. It's freedom or fascism, take you pick.

  • @EngineersLogic (part 2) "they're spending their own money on a message they choose to communicate on their own behalf"~EL Show the evidence...I know this to be false. If you produce anything it will be an isolated event. It is far from the norm. Seems like you are the one spreading falsehoods. Now you are correct in your dichotomy proposition...it is between fascism and freedom. Now you are dismissed. You are once again ignored.

  • YES!

Corporate personhood is not even based on a court ruling, but on a clerk's

    faulty summation.

Citizens United endangers Deomcracy by allowing Big Money to enhance

    their influence to obscene levels!

  • Corporate personhood is a made up term that does not exist in the text, or even in concept in the Citizen United ruling. Corporations are capped on their campaign contributions just like everyone else. They're spending their own money on their own advertising, advertising of their own choosing. Would you also like to prevent people from donating money to the Occupy movement, allowing them to spread their message? It's the same thing. It's freedom or fascism, take your pick.

  • @EngineersLogic Caps apply only to direct campaign donations - was not issue addressed by Citizens United.

Oh, and all phrases are 'made up'.

  • If corporations have the same freedoms as citizens, they should fall under the scrutiny of the NDAA as citizens do....

  • regardless of what Mitt Romney thinks, corporations are NOT people too...
