@belindalucero @YAKIKNOL Si es Chavela, se oye distinto porqué la primer parte es una grabación de hace muchos años y la segunda es cuando grabó estos tres magníficos discos: "Macorina", "La Llorona" y "Volver, Volver". Inclusive para la película volvió a hacer una nueva versión. La diferencia de la Chavela de hace décadas a la de hace 10 años es su voz aguardentosa, que atrajo de nuevo a muchos fans. Saludos

Grande CHAVELA y grande LA LLORONA, amo esta canción desde niña. La conocí por RAPHAEL a quien oía mi madre, a mi me parece un poco anticuado él, pero le agradezco que me haya hecho conocer este himno MEXICANO. Hoy prefiero las versiones femeninas y la de ALEJANDRO ALDONZA como otros aquí, al que recomiendo, pone la piel de pollo su interpretación intimista y sensible, pero con una voz como pocas en hombres para este clásico.

Well, I'd say it fits the movie's theme better to have a more romantic (emphasizing grief), less ghostly version. I know too little of the history of the song, though.
