  • too much oil causes bubles and underlubricated parts

  • how do you blow a head gasket on a mower... thats like the hardest thing to do --.--

  • @FrenchValleyAirport too much oil , it found the weakest point in the engine and blew it out !

  • whats funny about when people over fill them they put so much oil in them that the cylinder can't move and they never think to check the oil and they just toss the mowers out. in my case i've been given lawnmowers that normally cost money to own and almost everyone i was giver or found being thrown out had too much or no oil. nice to make money off stupid people.lol

  • the problem with the gear box all snowblowers is the grease just moves aside i always add 90 weight gear oil and they last for years. i fixed a ton of them.at 40 bucks just for the gears and if the shafts gone its 200 in parts prices are probably alot more these days

  • ...nobody's probably ever told this guy how annoying his ridiculous habit of blowing out a strained breath of air at the end of all his sentences is... "Hey, guys this is an update (LOUD exhale)..." "This tractor's goin' home tonight (LOUD exhale)..." "Picked up two projects yesterday (puffed exhale)" "...oil everywhere, blown head gasket (EXHALE!)" It's not that he's simply breathing. This is a common "expression and inflection" - a learned behavior. ...let the flames begin...

  • @StuPadazzo

    LOL

It's called talking without breathing. Have to learn how to talk and breathe at the same time.

  • I love small motor repair.... quite a satisfying hobby if you have the time and a good comfortable workspace.

  • @partyman6666 true , I was doing it as a second job

  • @enfieldpolice im 14 yrs old and im a mechine

  • @partyman6666 i agree its a very enjoyable hobby n its alot better to work on stuff like this its way easier then workin on stuff like big trucks or tractors. which is also fun to do but if u like easy stuff then this is the way to go

  • @partyman6666 CHEAP PARTS CHECK RONCO CENTER .C OM

  • That 6.75 POS will be dead in no time...those Tecumseh LEV engines are pure garbage.

  • @meccaturbo ....I replaced head gasket and its still running today

  • @meccaturbo Tecumseh engines are okay actually, just for some odd reason the engine [the whole engine, not just the exhaust] is louder than needed be. Only Tecumseh I've worked with is a generator...runs fine at 1/2 load, but I'll need my shooting ear protection to yank its cord, it was absolutely ridiculous. Bought a honda and never looked back.

  • yeah, ariens have a wierd feature or factory problem idk which but they piss out the oil like a dog if its a certain amount past the full mark i accidentally put like a quart in one and it only needed like 3/4 of a quart and it shot all the extra oil out then started working fine

  • @reap62 that is a cool feature

  • @enfieldpolice im not sure its a feature but the same thing happened to me and my friend twice, it might just be a factory defect but its a convenient one

  • @reap62 so true !

  • The video title should have been: NEVER START YOUR MOWER WITHOUT FIRST CHECKING THE OIL! I normally see the opposite problem though; no oil or very dirty oil. I like the Snapper mower you have and the Craftsman Rider is nice too. Tecumseh gets a bad rap, but I have never had problems with the few I own.

  • hydrolick lock thats what its called when you over fill your oil and breaks your engine

  • @cumminsfan wow.. Don't you ever wonder how people drive cars If they take their lawnmower to a repair shop before checking the gas... So well I happened to have performed surgery on a lawnmower today, it was a trash picked mower that had the brake stuck on so the engine wouldn't turn over. So after a few hours we fixed the problem and it ran just fine besides the fact that we had to disable the shut off lever pretty much, but we fixed that

  • wow, at least your customers are smart enough to put in oil. mine usually run them out, then ask what happened. Ive had three seperate people bring me machines that had "just stopped running one day". they had run out of gas. idiots all! I have an LT16 too, and it is one of my favorite machines. Heh heh i know where agawam is, and ive been in Enfield too.

  • One pull start now

  • it blew a large hole in Head gasket , No/low compression oil everywhere .

  • looks like they came from the same dumbass

  • Amazing. Most the ones ive gotten actually had little or no oil- or very dirty oil.

Most times ive seen em overfill it when the carb leaks by.

  • haha my grandpa did that 3 years ago the sparkplug blew right out and the head smashed into pieces
