I love how people say that gas motors cant pull. dont get em wrong I am about to buy a 7.3, but a 460 can easily give a 7.3 or 6 liter a run for its money, and that 460 will last years longer than 6.0.

Is this truck in southern maine?? It looks identical to one I saw at SMCC last year... I use to have the same exhact truck except mine was a 5 speed and had a 4" lift and 35's. Got a cummins now... little bit better on fuel!!! haha nice truck

Its reaallu up to u. Everything sunds good. Tho since this video I have removed the true dual, and went back to a single inlet, dual outlet muffler. Running a super 44 and its mint. I am running a cat as well, too stinky b4

The key to exhaust sound is the diameter of the exhaust pipe used. Take all your cats and mufflers off and play around with different sizes of exhaust pipe. Like go from 2 1/4 to 3" or 4" pipe at the end. It makes a big difference. I did that on my old 1995 F150.  It sounded great at the time.

Nice lookin rig. 460's are great motors. Just turned 183k on my '95f350 and she doesnt burn a drop of oil. The truck itself is well worn but thats the way a truck should be.

These motors were not really known for their horsepower so much, but they were built to be torque monsters. If Ford was still making the 460 now a days it would prob have 450 hp easily stock. But with some cam and head upgrades these trucks do just fine, they just need a little unrestricting to help

my 89 use to make the same noise after i installed a dual exhaust kit like yours. I didnt like it so i put cut the exhaust off after the mufflers. Sounds 1000x better

Yup, it has the dubble tube to the intake, its a K&N, that was the only cold air intake they offered for this motor

Do you have the stock tranny? My F-250 460 I have is fast but it is really geared for torque and I wondered if you have changed yours. Although the F-250 is no match for the my new 2008 F-450 King Ranch with the 6.4L that damn thing flys like a rocket.

Yup, everything is stock mechanically on the truck except the exhaust and intake. Other than very particular maintenance, theres nothing more than the E4OD tranny, and 3.55 gearing.
