  • Thats just cool.Talk about a sleeper.

  • Wow I'm 17 soon to be 18, I wouldn't mind owning a 68-71 chevelle ss for my first car I love them!!

  • Nothing quite beats flying through a school crossing haha This is a great car!

  • nice find low miles good shape and none of these younger folk know what a 396 is..My first car was a chevelle..:].

  • 40 to 85mph was coooool!

  • Repaint it the standard color and leave it as close to stock as possible. Remember, nothing puts you back in the seat like a big block chevy!!

  • how about some paint gramps!!!!!

  • Hello I brought this great car, just want to thank the seller for selling it to me. Started to do a frame off restoration on this great all original car 17 months ago almost done, I will never find another one like this all original matching numbers never been touch car.

  • how do u do a frame off restoration and how much does it cost

  • $40,000 it cost me at 25.00 an hour.

    Thank you

  • @415jaypee a frame off restoration is when the car is completely disassembled to the point where the chassie is off of the body therefore making it easy to clean it up along with the rest of the car. it is a very costly and time consuming job especially if you have a body shop do it

  • nice chevelle dude.

  • i want this car i wouldnt mind having 2 of them maybe get airride for my other one :p

  • That's a nice picture of the guy and the car at the end.

  • yes,romantic picture

  • dammit i seen that car in lakewood was parked in a drive way for so long.

i always wanted to ask if it was for sale and the last couple of times i drove by there, it was gone.

wow i thought it didnt run.

holly crap. i got a 66 elky, i should of asked for it.

  • speed through school zones!!!

  • maybe with the valve job some lifters would help,i can hear one tapping

  • chevelle ss is my drema car, i dont need no beemer or hummer etc... chevelle's are the best!

  • Is it still for sale? If so, how much is it?

  • how much ??

  • anyone that says "SUper solid" i dont trust em' lol

  • That is my favorite year of Chevelle. Not only that, it's my favorite car in the universe. I'd prefer that rusty old think over a brand new Maybach any day. Call me crazy, but...

  • column shift, hub caps and air conditioning.... most likely the 325hp version. I kick myself all the time for letting my 69'SS go. I loved the auto with ethe floor shifter. Other drivers pulling up to the left of me never saw my hand on the shifter, but they got a great look at my tail lights. :)

  • still for sale? or how much did it go for?

  • That surface rust will only get worse..time for a restore...

  • Do NOT paint that car. Do what it needs to keep it going, but don't paint it. Patina is where it's at.

  • dayum, whos the hottie 38 seconds in?

  • Wow^^ thats a pretty nice chevelle..maybe need the car a paint job ( please in the original color =) ) but she looks good..5 points

  • can you say bone stock.I like it

  • Is it for sale?

  • it was cool to see it with the original paint....what a time capsule. That 396 was most likely the 325 horse model. The idle was too smooth for anything hotter

  • car is nice but it does need a paint job and one more qestion is that a 1971 pontiac grand prix in the back round

  • u mind getting a paintjob please........for all of us

  • shut up

  • do not restore that chevelle. it is perfect the way it is. csn you say "sleeper"

  • the friend of the family inspected it, but what is that worth? is he an expert?

  • 325, 350, or the awesome 375 horsepower?

  • you have a real gem there. a good restoration is in order.

  • has anyone bought it, if not where is it so i can bid?

  • need to restor it cus its condition is only gonna get worse

  • u should get a paint job
