  • This is an english weapon. and they said it's for the navy. I can't really trust this tv show for accurate information :(

  • @Daemeon93 It's not unheard of for weapons used by certain countries to be designed or made in other countries. Look at the MP5, that SMG has been used by Americans, Brits, Japanese, but it's German, look at the FAL, that rifle was used by nearly all of Western Europe and Canada, and was Belgian made, the same company that made the AS50 also made the AWP for use by the Swedish. Is it that hard for people to believe that countries can use foreign guns?

  • You guys take your guns way too seriously, whats wrong with someone wanting to learn about the real gun just because they saw it in a video game?

  • @MashedAvacado so they are suposed to make some progres, exualy learn about it and get over the games :)

  • its on far cry2 !!!!! i remenber

  • Very nice weapon , and i love Accuracy International they make awesome weapons.

  • MW3 much? :D

  • @zb0z mw3 sux ass

  • This is truly a force multiplier for one man at say 500 to 1000 yards.

  • How effective would this be in a Bullpup platform?

  • barrett is better than as50 and m-200 chey tac is better than barrett

  • @gesucristo0 berret vs m200 > cant really compare them, they are both used for way different things... Dont base guns on cod dmg....

  • @pcuserx chey tac is so much accuracy than barrett.i konw it because i see on wikipedia and in a video on you tube,i don't play on cod but i play on fifa

  • @gesucristo0 Have you shot a Barrett? It makes 4 inch groups at 100 yards. The best I've seen is 2 inch groups with handloaded ammo. The AS50 can do 1.5 inches at 100 yards with cheap, machine gun ammo. Not to mention the Barrett was never designed to be a sniper rifle, it was designed as a "Hard Target Interdiction" rifle. Guys in the box have found a way to improve accuracy by cutting the recoil spring but then you run into feed problems.

  • @gesucristo0 i searched once and found out the barrett m99 is barrett firearms most accurate rifle

also i found out a 750 grain hornady a-max has a longer supersonic range then the first standard .408ct

though it has less range then a good .275 cheytac round, and cheytac makes rifles in .375 ct to

youre not realy clear, what did you already knew what i now said ?

  • @pcuserx The fuck is 'berret'?

    Learn to write or GTFO!

  • @pcuserx its barrett and there is more then one barrett rifle dude

  • @gesucristo0 ai as-50 was never mass produced, so i woudnt even count it in

there are several barrett rifles, witch one do you mean ?

do you mean youre a battlefield player and you only know about the barrett m95, are you a codfag and do you only know about the barrett m82a1, or cant you just explain shit the right way ?

  • is it just me, or did they spell material wrong at the start : "materiel"

  • @eliteOWNAGE100 nope

it is in fact anti-materiel and not anti-material like people who never read gunarticles think it is

  • "One shot per customer" Lmao! what a cruel world lol

  • EAR PROTECTION REQUIRED

  • my dick is bigger than the whole gun

  • the picture of the AS-50 looks a lot like a M99-II

  • @gdialpha Not much longer, take the m110 for example, statistically as accurate and more reliable

  • @willthedumbass It is, major contract bla bla.. England needs money bla bla. We'll hopefully use it as well

  • its a great sniper rifle but bolt action is still more reliable

  • @gdialpha u wish

  • @daprofesional1 it probably is just like that

  • i know my guns because of this show, not by COD nuff said'

  • @AsnKevin11 something more then pure codplayers indeed, but not that much better

  • @13thmistral true true true

  • wait navy seals. i thought is was british from a video i saw. well guns are guns.

  • @xXmarksmandeadshotXx made bu ai, reqiuested by us navy

  • People who own guns are probably just trolling cod players on real gun videos just to make their miserable life feel better.

  • @iwinjedi no, but you are trolling without succes

ok a bit, but who am i ?

  • @13thmistral little kid...

  • @iwinjedi more an 19 year old

    thanks for youre attention haha

  • WOw I think some of you guys take your knowledge of guns a little too seriously...so what if someone who plays COD is interested to see what the real deal is like?

  • @jnapier32 exactly

  • @jnapier32 i agree if these guys was real gun nuts they would be happy to get people interested into their shit also mw3 brought me here and i dont give a single fuck

  • Is it just me or does the British guy sound a lot like Michael Cain?

  • "Designed for the navy seals"? I though it was british...

  • @willthedumbass All nato bro.

  • @mw3L3GITSniper

    Are the US nato?? :S

  • @SO17Alpha Nato is the free world army basically

  • @willthedumbass the US gov. might have paid AI to make a special gun for them.

  • @willthedumbass Yes, because all sports cars and made for Italians/Germans and all kids toys were made for the Chinese.

  • @willthedumbass Glocks are very widely used in American police forces, and they're Austrian made. Not to mention the scar was designed by FN basically as an alternative to the M16/M4 for USA military, and FN is from Belgium.

  • @willthedumbass just because its british doesn't mean they cant use it the navy seals use mp5s in certain operations and it german.. doesn't necessarily have to be american :)

  • @willthedumbass British can't design weapon for Americans?

  • @willthedumbass the plan was accuracy international making this rifle specificly for the us navy seals

the rifle was never seen there

  • @willthedumbass navy seals use hk416 which is german, my point is that special forces pick guns based on performance not on place of origin

  • @willthedumbass The AWP was designed for the Swedish, by a British company. The MP7 was designed for use throughout NATO by the Germans, the SCAR was designed for the U.S. Army by the Belgians. If you're allied with a country with good gun designers you take advantage of it.

  • @willthedumbass It's not like the Military Channel wasn't pure propaganda, you know...

  • @Sagramorbald It's not like you know what you're talking about, you know?

  • @Alteonify Actually I do. Discovery and History channel - every US weapon is "ultimate", every design will "change wars forever, yada yada yada.

Other countries? They don't exist. The best tank? The M1A1, not the Leopard A7+. The best attack helicopter, the Apache, not the KA-50 Hokum (or the Ka-52), the best AR, the M-16 family, not the G36 family, the best artillery, the Paladin (and not the PzH 2000), the best IFV, the Bradley and not the BMP-3 family...

    Need I continue? Propaganda.

  • @Sagramorbald Mind explaining their coverage of H&K weapons, or the AK series? Heck did you see the Military Channel's special on Spetsnaz?

  • @willthedumbass yeah but for their friends usa navy seals :)

  • @12332145565413 : wanna duel like cowboys? i can blow u head with only poor USSR K54, even u use M99 or AS50

  • @EDgamer99 thanks bro! Hope you have a nice day.

  • @flowingwolfpack thanks for the advice bro! I actually learned a thing or two after watching this. Got any other suggestions?

  • Nice ass gun I'd love to shoot one anyone know if they have one in ft.benning gorgia ik I Speke it wrong

  • PLEASE tell me that you can buy this...

  • @DLemre you cant

it probably doesnt even exist for real in case of talking about the 2 prototypes being mass produced and shit

  • portability -4 maybe -9000 with ammos

  • Its 5-6 pounds heavier than the Barrett M107/A1

  • Shoot a guy with this and he spontaneously becomes mist.

  • The Brits make a mean rifle.

  • @KiwiLovin7 look at the L115a1 ;) longest kill with that, made by the same guys who made this

  • @louistheonion23

Yeah and not just Accuracy International. The old Enfields are a blast to shoot and dead accurate.

  • @KiwiLovin7 yeah man i agree. No4 lee enfield with free floating barrel was considered, with a scope, the best sniper rifle in WW2. Many would say the Mauser :p But i'm british so i'm sticking with the Enfield!

  • @louistheonion23

I'm Mexican so I gotta say that the Mondragon is the best battle rifle ever. Of rifles I've fired though, it's a .No4 in number one and the M1903 at second.

  • @louistheonion23 more the l115a3, an improovement on the l115a1 system

    just saying, no offence

  • I shot that weapon in ArmA 2 ACE 2 10 mins ago and i think its as deadly in the Game as in the real life :D

  • u still going to give me a hitmarker MW3?

  • I thought titanium was heavy

  • @boxdynomite3 No, widely used in aircraft for it's strength but its very lightweight.

  • @britgary thanks i just learned something cool

  • gotta b tough to call that light

  • @iwinjedi GTFO CoD Cunt

  • @MegaAliveli lol little kid

  • @iwinjedi Cod fanboys DONT comment on real guns, you dont know anything about it!

  • @xDlillexD why are there so many little kids watching this

  • @xDlillexD trollface.jpg

  • @xDlillexD i play cod at least an hour a day, i own many firearms like the r700 and m16a3....... i know alot about gunz.....

  • @12332145665413 lmao... really?

    R700 and M16A3...

Tell me, what kind of bullets do they fire? What's the muzzle velocity of each one? What's the gun's tag numbers? Where do you get a gun license? How long does it take for you to get the guns and license? Shut the hell up kid, and do us a favor by enlisting in the army to become cannon fodder. and btw... it's guns, not gunz

  • @12332145665413 haha only a cod kid would call the remington 700 an 'r700'

  • @12332145665413 yeah i highly doubt that you know shit about guns just because you said you did dumbfuck

  • @xDlillexD I am Cod fanboy but i know about real guns cause i study about it

  • @iwinjedi piss of with ur fucking cod shit dont comment on real guns

  • @iwinjedi get out of here you fanboy, go prestige or something, or keep your gay comments to yourself and your friends and watch the video. You may learn things about REAL guns.

  • I would like to use this to shoot a deer lol

  • Very good looking and powerful gun,but the weight is CRAZY.

14.1 kg Is LIGHT TO YOU?'

    Thats like 30 pounds!

  • @TheDeadlyMuff1n 30Ib's isn't really that heavy.

  • mhm........SUN SHINE LOLIPOPS EVERYWHERE YAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!!!! mhm random moment over..... so um boom headshot?

  • SR25 all the way!

  • @TryHardDexter Some people don't know about guns man play COD to learn about guns!

  • @borngawd1564 Um what?

  • @borngawd1564 Firearms* NOT guns.

  • @DrDerpwerth who gives a shit firearm gun gat no one cares stop your bitching

  • @vegeta109x Learn to spell, you retarded fuck.

  • @DrDerpwerth thats not very nice and i am not retarded

  • @vegeta109x Your spelling and grammar skills are still shit and you're still retarded. Yawn.

  • @DrDerpwerth um not really i am not retarded for one and you must be gay if you putt yawn in a comment and i am from south Texas if you have a problem with how i type you can go fuck your self smart ass

  • Pack a punch [x] Light [ ] ( no 31 Pounds is not light for one weapon thats like my rucksack

  • 14,1kg i cant lift that :D

  • Dear Santa.....

  • @TheDarkOrchid142 Dear, fuck off.

  • what kind of melons are those?

  • Grrrr MSG4 GoTP kid

  • i still pefer the DSR-1 or the VSS

  • Good gun but i just think its ugly.

  • personally i prefer m107 barret

  • Now put on Quick Draw pro and go quick scoping ^_^

  • Omg this gun is super awesome like in MW3 it is just like the real thing on xbox !

  • @DirectRearInsertion your troll is so obvious x)

  • i love the way they say "a big plus of the AS-50 is having accuracy thats basically as good as a bolt action rifle, but with semi automatic fire" then give it a 3 for accuracy. but i suppose that if it had got a 4 or 5 that would have made it the number 1, and this cant happen because the rifle isnt american.

  • MW3

  • Yeah travel light with a 31lb rifle on your back -__-

  • mw3 lol

  • 1.5 MOA is NOT accurate, and "as accurate as bolt action" is just lying through the teeth.

  • British: IS50 US/Canada: AS50 lol

  • is this ultimate marvel vs capcom 3? because this is a video of a gun and guns are usually used by the military and guile from street fighter is in the military and street fighter is made by capcom and capcom makes ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 so this must be ultimate marvel vs capcom 3!!!

  • Don't know about you, but 14.1 Kg is NOT light.

  • @Phibriglex For something that shoots a .50, I'd say that's decently light.

  • @Phibriglex for a backpack, i honestly think it is

though it must be seen with a spottingscope, ammo, reserve rifle, surviving kit and other shit...

they shoud be able to carry backpacks wieghing 30kg if im not mistaken

honestly, my shoulders woud hurt and i woud drop it

they shoud be trained to keep it

  • @Phibriglex For 50. cal sniper rifle it is

  • @BunkerBr0 McMillan Tac-50. 12Kg.

  • @Phibriglex at least it's lighter than the m82a1 and it's using 50 cals

  • @Phibriglex this man speaks the truth.

    Barrett m82a1: 12.9kg

    Barrett m95: 9.98kg

  • @Phibriglex atleast it's lighter than the barret 50cal

  • @Phibriglex More weight makes it easier to steady a gun.

  • @Phibriglex its a 50 cal, it kinda has to be heavy

  • @Phibriglex 0:46 it's designed for navy seals to keep them under water if they accidentally wear a life jacket... i guess

  • @Phibriglex for a 50 cal, its pretty fuckin light

  • @xXSaphyrisXx the Barrett M82 is lighter if only slightly.

  • people seem to be forgetting the build requirements, the seals went to AI as they make some of the finest sniper rifles in the world, very high quality. this is made from titanium as its designed to be used from wet environments primarily so it has to resist corrosion..

  • @fairclought7 do you maybe know why the seals never got them for real ?

  • Could this replace the M82/M107?

  • @MsDario1996 nope

exualy i fear the thing is canceled for already a long time

if you realy search, you find rumors of 2 prototypes still being stored somewhere but nothing being done with them

im 100% sure it isnt mass produced

the m107 is replaced by the m107a1 kinda though

with that i mean barrett firearms doesnt make m82a1's annymore, only m107a1 rifles

  • @MsDario1996 i hope so :)

  • So what did they vote as the best sniper rifle?

  • @jbetenbender ct m200 :)

but you dont shoud have the same opinion because they did

if youre smart, you just have to look at the starratings to know the show is bulshit verry much

  • @13thmistral Great English bro. I never said I'd go off what they say; you had simply assumed this, and as many people know assumption is the root of much failure. I was only curious what they put up there; as it would surely be one of the best, but of course unlikely to be the best.

  • @jbetenbender indeed, asumed and totaly prejudicted

yea, rasism, and shit, they come from those things

now, to be honest, there are numerous reasons why a person woud decide not to put in the ct m200

even if we forget the fact its probably not made annymore and its kinda an adm arms windrunner m96,...

i think i woud prefer the now made thor xm408(ah, nmaes and minor diferences between guns) or the dta hti

  • @13thmistral Personally I think the only way to fairly judge any of these guns would to be a marksman yourself and personally use them. I'm no marksman; I just like guns like any other man,

  • @jbetenbender and you like them because you used them ?

if you like them because of that, how can you like a gun like this ?

or anny of those other high grade millitary rifles ?

also, imagen if i woud be some usmc sniper

i coud only include the m40 serie of rifles, m24 variants(coming from the us-army and have been a sniper there), barrett m82a1 and maybe some others

but then not so much others

the usmc is never gonna adopt lobaev svl's, anny.416 barrett rifles, McMillan TAC-50..

  • @jbetenbender aw rifles, ax rifles, dta rifles, vss vintorez...

a general top 10 of a random person who shot 10 sniper rifles woud exist out of savage rifles, mosin nagant sniper variant rifles, and remington rifles

maybe a .50bmg rifle like the ar-50 , barrett m99 or barrett m82a1, from serbu, bushmaster maybe... well known shit like that

  • @jbetenbender about one of the best...

    in this vid...

one rifle canceled(as-50), one rifle out of production(barrett m82a1), one rifle not made annymore so unless you also include a colectorsitem as one of the best(ct m200)

also the awsm version thats showed in the top 10 is an l115a1

was replaced by the l115a3 btw

also, how are you gonna judge those guns ?

historic value ? the state of the art rifles ?, the state of the art rifles being widly used ?

    range is important, but how...

  • @jbetenbender much exualy ?

the general killrange is sertainly less then a mile, so what woud a rifle like the barrett m107, though being voted as a verry good invention, do in a top 10 then ?

    .338lm rounds then ?

ok but those are still not standard rounds and are not as easy to get as .308wm rounds

millitary request durable rifles, but law enforcement cares the most about accuracy at ranges shorter then like 400m(like its said, generaly its high presicion, but just across the...

  • @jbetenbender street

do you vote rifles high that are exelent, even if they are rare and arent made annymore (walther wa2000, mauser SR-93,...)?

also, for most of those modern millitary rifles, you must be a sniper in a special unit, not only a marksman

  • @13thmistral No one can accurately measure how good a gun is; there's too many factors to take into account. It's because of the aforementioned that I said the only way to judge them is to use them for yourself, though getting someone's opinion would certainly help. Btw don't spam. Yes I do like guns because I've used them. I already said that I haven't fired any of these guns: I don't have thousands of dollars just lying around. It's through using guns that I can appreciate them.

  • @jbetenbender ... all of them. Someone could fly a crop duster and have appreciation for all planes. I don't care much for trivial skwabling so this will be my last post. I hope you find something better to do and I bid you adieu.

  • @jbetenbender spamming ?

    not on purpose

though, if you indeed only can judge when you have fired a gun, it was of no value for you to know witch one was nr 1 in this show

just admit it, everyone likes to hear an other opinion from people who shot it if the other people didnt

we use other people their info to to judge

  • Quit bitching y'all modern warfail 3 kiddies

  • 4 People Dont Know How to Shoot A rifle

  • I think .50 BMG incediary rounds would be devastating, regardless of whether they are fired from a converted WWII era Boys-class rifle, a Barrett M82 or from the AS 50.

The AS50 just makes the .50 cal semi-auto more portable and easier to deploy.

  • @UCSPanther20 the boys rifle, or whatever it was called, was firing .55 cal rounds, not .50bmg rounds

  • @13thmistral

True, but many that did find their way into civilian hands were converted to .50 BMG due to the rarity of .55 Boys cartridges.

  • @UCSPanther20 realy ?

i read they did that with some gun originaly firing 20mm rounds

but with that one, i had no idea

  • Titanium? That must be extremely expensive.

  • XD this thing has more marks on stopping power than the TAC-50, though they use the same god damn cartridge...

I know about barrel length can affect the power slightly and so on, but that shouldn't count.

  • @GammaDaNobz Actually, it does count, most weapon system uses the same cartridge but it's the barrel length that determines it's power.

  • @Dnoobrs7 kinda true, but its even more importaznt if talking about witch kind of .50bmg you woud fire

  • @13thmistral Well this thing does fire the armor piercing incendiary round...

  • @Dnoobrs7 and if it can do that, it can also fire several other sorts of rounds

  • @13thmistral True, but this rifle does focus on that particular round.

  • @Dnoobrs7 realy not ?

where did you found that info ,

i mean, i always thought so because of the lack on info(its nowhere to be found it does, like i already mentioned), but specificly some sorce that sais its not,...

it woud be a new one
