  • your face is the ulgyist quilty EVER!!!

  • Is this better than HDMI cable I have slim and Full HD Toshiba but people are saying there are jaggies

  • if u got flat screen tv will standard defintion work?

  • So i got X360 premium and i will be getting great FUll HD tv so i should RGB cables as these are the component cables, right?

  • @Lordani1 Yes, but you should use hdmi, it looks a hell of a lot better and looks a lot less grainy

  • Yup it has been confirmed buying the arcade version was the worst idea ever.....

Does anyone know where they would sell those? Like would they be sold anywhere in a video game store or store like target or best buy?

  • i have component cables but it only works when i have the switch on tv. when i flip it to hdtv and plug in the cables (correctly) and turn on my xbox, the screen is completely blank with no picture or sound. can anyone help?

  • @bilbreezyy is your tv hd lol

  • nevermind i got it to work.

  • Hmmmm... I baught a astro headset today and i wanted to plug in my optical cable from it to y xbox but my xbox doesnt have a optical output? i dont play in Hd... Do i have to buy a speacial cable -.-....?

  • my tv supports 1080p

  • What's the difference between HDMI and Component cables? And which one is better?

    HDMI or Component cable?

  • i dont know the differences is lol but i know HDMI is better picture/sound quality

  • HDMI! (its all to do with the resolution components max resolution is 420p i think then if you use the red green blue its 720 but hdmi is 1080p (i use summet like that mate!)

  • HDMI but if you wanna record with a capture a

    card compnent cables

  • You don't need a HD TV to use the composite cables. I use them, & I don't have a HD TV. You leave the switch on the cable to "TV" no "HDTV" & you hook up the Green Blue Red wires for video & the White & Red wires for the audio (5 in total). It looks as good as HD even if you don't have a HD TV. Just leave the switch on the AV cable to "TV"!!! You'll get a much better picture, it works!

  • so hows regular TV looks like? i forgot how it looks like >.>

  • same here. My tv, only supports 480p, and I did exactly what you did.

  • composite = 480i

    component = 480p and 1080i on higher resolution TV's.

If your Xbox 360 doesn't have an HDMI port, try checking out HD VGA AV Cables because they can support 720p/1080p.

  • So the HD/VGA is better but don't you have to computer speakers for that?

  • just forget all the composite and component shit go with hdmi

  • He's exactly right I just bought some coponent cables and man do they make a huge difference.

  • if you have a composite cable and your playing it on a HDtv can you change the quality to 1080p or you have to play it on 720p.

  • composite only can do 480i, so you cant even get 720p, you need component for 720 and 1080

  • ok thanks.

  • [pqboi] If your using composite cables, you can't change the resolutions settings. You can change it only for component and HDMI.

  • ok thanks.

  • Happy to help =)

  • LOL WTF I said it wrong. xD

  • this was exactly what i was looking for, someone to spell it out what i needed clearly!!! cheers bro!!!

  • hey umm do u kow where can i find the composite cables??cuz my yellow cable broke and i dont know where i can find one :(

  • just like coundown said blow me you asshole, the graphics look fine on a SDTV. You assholes who can buy all that shit need to stop telling people they need to just not buy a 360 or anything new because they don't have HD. HA HAAAA ROCK ON COUNTDOWN!!!

  • blow me you asshole, the graphics look fine on a SDTV. You assholes who can buy all that shit need to stop telling people they need to just not buy a 360 or anything new because they don't have HD.

  • well even without da component cables and a regular T.v da x-box 360 styll looks great, only difference iz dat ur not seein da graphics at it'z full potential, if u want full potential graphics best ting 2 do is get and hdtv use ur compnents cables, or if u have the elite use da hdmi hable wit ur hdtv if it's hdmi compatible

  • Thats not true. The Xbox 360 does not look like "garbage" on an SDTV the graphics are good and on HDTV its not really much of a difference. You're not even a true gamer are u? If you were graphics wouldn't matter that much to you.

  • i have an sd tv by samsung. i know its not hd. but it has those componenet inputs on the back and one of the input channels says component. does that mean im going to be able to use those cables on my box to plug into the tv?

  • Yes but since it's a SD tv the maximum resolution your gonna get is 640x480p or known as 480p, which isn't HD but is way better than 640x480i or known as 480i. So in other words do it, plug those fuckers in cause the picture will improve.

  • Thanks for the comments!

  • @ExpoTVVideoGames Its this better component than HDMI cable

  • these are essential

  • thx man i just remembered i have a component tv that i used composite cables with my ps2. cant wait to finally use it on 360!

  • first coment! :)
