i have done this stle 3 times and have to say that it is my favorite form of twists...but my dry scalp always ruins the style! after about 4 days my scalp gets incredibly dry and sometimes flakes. Water is not friends with this style, especially when your scalp needs attention. I made the mistake once of wetting it down in this style and ended up in tangles..never again. prob would need to do deep condition on scalp next time. thanks for the tut!

it helps if you seperate your hair in some uneven chuncks lets say 8 or 10. you can then go by every chunck. You will go thru it faster. Before you know it, you're done and rocking ur fine twists.. =]

@Ame2020v What are you using to twist your hair. The reason I like to use shea butter while twisting is because it has a thick and sticky texture. It weighs those little hairs down so they don't stick out.

@KinkyKurlyQueen i use this honey shea butter mix that a family member of mine makes and sells..but i tried your method and it turned out sooo much better..i found that blow drying first really helped straighten out the curly texture so my hairs werent such an issue.. thank you :)

KKQ - Have you noticed that the longer your hair gets you must blow dry before you twist? Also, what type of blow dryer do you use if you don't mind me asking? Beautiful styles......just beautiful! Oh, how often do you wash your hair while in twist if at all?

@dsugartwist When my hair was shorter and I braided or twisted my hair like this, I would always blowdry it first. I just like the look of it and it prevents my hair from getting tangled. The name of my blowdryer is Conair 1875 watt Styler Dryer...I use the wide toothed attachment that's included. I'll do a blow drying vid soon. And I do not wash my twist at all, it would ruin them...imo.
