This game's texture and polygone quality looks like Final Fantasy 7, which is 12yrs ago...except that they put the lighting and shader effect and producing in 720p which make it look better..........

Don't get me wrong i'm SS fans, I played all series and I like 3rd most. When I first play this SS Sen I feel weird that they removed those classic special moves from previous series. Now the games looks like Soul Calibur + Virtua Fighter

@sinshixxi are you that fucking ignorant. you watch a minute and fourty second video and you can diagnose the quality of the game's graphics. I played SS religiously when I was younger and i honestly do not mind the jump into 3d. they have done everything else and even a anime why not 3d.

@sinshixxi Nah dude. Legend of Dragoon has the same quality as Final Fantasy VII. This doesn't. The shading and lighting on models with that poly count won't do anything. A better comparison would be Soul Caliber II. Either way, this game would probably do better if they did it in 3D, but fought on a 2D plane like Street Fighter IV. Hopefully they'll do that to the next game, or even better, Last Blade 3, if they ever decide to make one.

@EndXIII, I hear you..thank god Capcom wasn't stupid enough to do this for SF4 or SSF4. The old school way has always proved better, seems like 2D fighers lose their personality, distinction, excitement and oftentimes overall playability when making the transfer to full 3D. Fuck keeping up with times, just ramp up the character roster, graphics, moves and add in tag team matches, online playability, more blood, and fucking FIREBALLS, FATALITIES, BOSS FIGHTS, BETTER WEAPONS, FURIOUS COMBOS etc.

I really think that the best way to revitalize this series would to have been to take to both the 360 and the PS3. This game has not had a major U.S. release since the early 90's and the Anthology doesnt count because only about 50 people were able to buy it without much hassle. I own a PS3 and "I MIGHT" have given it a chance since I love fighting games but now I cant. Now, King oF Fighters 12 was a MAJOR fail, if they ruin another classic franchise, SNK's pockets will be hurting very bad

Microsoft offers huge discounts to Japanese developers for exclusives. This game was also a commercial failure. They incentives pay was probably more than it cost them to make the game. They'd of only lost more money for doing a multiplatform game.

It *is* that bad. The only thing that resembles the SS series are the characters. This is like taking Soul Calibur and turning it into a Street Fighter game.
