  • @FTruness Lol you really think he can play what's my name ? he not do the true slap of miyavi.. how do you want him to play whats my name !!!

  • Im glad I subscribed :]

    Beautiful stuff my friend! ^0^

  • Ha... now slap that

  • lol'd at 3:03

  • Oh yeah, I meant string... (I'm german :P)

Okay thank you, I'll try to make the sound a bit better :)

  • Good video! :D

I have a question: When I slap with my thumb, the guitar site hits the neck and makes a weird noise... Is the site too loose?

I have a classic guitar like yours, so how can I avoid that?

    Thank you!

  • @90eri90

I'm assuming by "site" you meant string... right? It's ok for things to make noise. it's a percussive technique. As long as it doesn't sound horrible, you should be totally fine.

  • it´s been a time since I practice miyavi style, and tanks to you I still progress, tanks a lot! (sorry for bad english haha)

  • very nice! Oo

hihi, now I want a guitar XD

  • who taught you your mad skillz

  • @alonsojett

I taught myself by buying tabs and instructional dvds of all my favorite guitarists... and practiced like crazy!

  • @shonsta Whoses DvDs were they?

  • @gibderfenson

I started on Metallica, then Joe Satriani, Vai, Malmsteen. Then I realized all I was doing was shredding... Which is super fun but I wanted to play more than just one thing at a time so I looked into classical, Flamenco, and pretty much anything that was interesting. The tutorials on my channel are pretty much the techniques I always use in almost everything I play. They were a part of my own instructional DVD some years ago, but I decided to just give it away.

  • @shonsta thx for your answer! Do you know Mike Oldfield? If you do, what do you think of his guitar playing?

  • @gibderfenson

I've heard "of" him but never heard any of his music.

  • @shonsta ok, while I'm here, thank you for helping me learn the rasguado technique, it took me 1 hour from scratch to master with your video!

  • Nice to finally see a more in-depth tutorial...when I get THIS version down, I'll send you a vid!
