That's Sharon Gilchrist for sure! She lives here in Santa Fe and you can see her for free on many Saturday afternoons down at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. Sharon hosts a bluegrass jam that usually collects a dozen or more participants. All sitting in a circle and all playing and learning new stuff. Very nice.
Really great but the title of this video is deceptive. I thought rice just wasn't visible on screen bromberg is awesome though. I got to see him live from the front row once and it was one of the best shows I've e er gone to. Love this song- such great lyrics and changes
Nope, it's not Rice. As the info states: "Rowan/Rice at Sellersville, PA. Tony Rice was ill for this show so David Bromberg sat in. This is a mellow but superb version of Midnight Moonlight."
Peter sounds sick. (Or do I just watch too many of these damn things?) I saw him about a week later at Springfest, and I didn't think he had been sick. Maybe it's just echoey. I dunno. Anyway, thanks for the virtual trip to the Sellersville Theater.
I thought that was David Bromberg ... love this song!

This is a really smoki'n version version, considering the personnel. That bass player is superb, as is all the performance.

Was thinking rice had a pretty convincing Bromberg mask on.

David Bromberg is on lead guitar - he's an old picker more famous back in early 70's.

im not sure that sharon could hear herself in the monitors, cause she is way off tune here. i could totally do without her vocals.

@blugrastooth that's just the low harmony she's singing

What a treat: Rowan singing one of the best tunes he composed. Added thrill: Bromberg live.
