I heard that they were actually continuing the Evo, but they will make it hybrid-based; therefore, possibly turning it into shit. I don't care anymore. I'm still very heart-broken that they're either officially killing or severely devolving beloved my dream car, but I'm still getting an Evo VI TME, and pretty soon, dammit.
@SuperMario811 I agree, very sad that Mitsubishi wants to take evo to be their "hybrid representant", they could make this with Eclipse, much better.Well i hope ur get ur VI, i want one EVO II one day if possible.But anyway..let's hope...the evo XI doens't suck...or turn into a fatass civic -_-
For Sheer Performance for less than £40k, The Evo has to be up there. It's probably oen of the finest and most known Japanese cars of all time, With the Skyline and Impreza. I'm happy they still make and sell Evo's in their X Form, and quite happy that they use the "Evo X" face on many of Mitsubishi's European cars, especially the Colt and the Standard Lancer.
The Eclipse wasn't really Japanese, as it was made in Illinois. I'm happy the Evo is among us.
