@gagerdemon in this shark fishing video, i got lucky, and the shark got lucky. (we let him go right after the photo....) i haven't ever tried to eat shark, though my fly fishing customers catch quite a few each year! ~ mt
@mtbpt oh cuz for my bday my people took me to eat and they ordered me thressher shark and told me it was chicken it tastsed the same except for texture :D
@gagerdemon ...i have heard mixed reviews about eating shark, i guess i will just have to try it and see for myself. thanks for watching, i appreciate it! ~ mt
@Ziwa10 hello, i use10-12wt rods rigged with 50lb backing and floating lines. 40-50 lb. leaders to heavy braided wire (40-100lb) depending on the sharks we are casting at. consider that sharks have very rough skin and heavy leader material above your wire helps keep them from breaking you off when they twist and thrash - mt
@MoritzzZZZzzz ...well moritz, we all have our opinions, until things go bad and we have to improvise. shark was fine, i was fine, customer was happy.
it would be an adveture with a one handed guide, but i guess if it played out the other way they are making great advances in prosthetics... maybe a guide with a bionic pole arm?
howd it taste>
