The young Birgit Nilsson might be the real "star", in this excerpt of a finale, and she has, virtually, NO flaws whatsoever, with the difficult part. ... Great sample of Kleiber's art. This must have been his last recording. It was made 7-12 January, 1956, and Kleiber died on 27 January.
