A very interesting idea you have. I'd love to see how it turns out. I wish someone could tell me what my dream was, you know just look inside my head and see what it is I truly want because I still don't know. A dream I've always thought is you achieving something that makes you the happiest person in the world, with no regrets.

What makes me happy? Ha, good question. I love the theatre, I wish I had the talent and courage to be able to do something like that. I play the euphonium, and I wish I had the drive to take that to a profession, but I'm just scared and afraid of failure. Therapy lesson No.1. hehe.

The simple truth about dreams is to just do what makes you happy. Period. Throw the rest out. Life is hard whether you live your dream or not so you might as well live your dream. Fear only goes away when we do whatever it is that makes us afraid. Fear is just uncertainty of the unknown. So now...

Now you have to just do it!!! Forget all that "I wish I had..." and "I wish I wasn't afraid". Forget it! Just do it! Just do the things that make you happy! Tomorrow is not guarenteed for any of us. You are not alone! Everyone is afraid of something. But that shouldn't stop you from going for it, whatever IT is! Seriously... it's totally worth it. :-) You'll see.

I've had dreams but sometimes you have to give up on your dreams because they are no longer attainable. However you can form new dreams which are attainable and eventually complete them into a reality.

Yea and sometimes they never will be. Like that girl you loved in highschool but never asked out because yuo were shy and she turned you off. However deep down inside you knew she was attractive. Then 5 years later you realize she has a boyfriend and all the time you've wasted dreaming about her was just your own feelings not her's. If you can take that kind of blow to your heart and keep moving forward. I took that kind of blow and I remain standing. >.<!

We all make choices and unfortunately because of your inhibitions you chose not to let her know how you feel. You never know what would've happened had you said something. I think it's awesome you're keeping a positive attitude. You're right... you're still standing. And I believe things happen for a reason. You will find someone. :)

Thanks Lisa. This whole music thing is a lot of work, but I have the vision and the hunger to keep up and go harder at improving my craft. Do we really know the limits of a dream?

How do we know the proper limits of it?

What if, we already made or biggest dream come true, and at the same time *WE* just make THAT dream even more impossible to get? What happens then?

Are we making our dreams an impossible thing to get?

How much of one dream can we get, before our hunger for "something else" makes it bigger?

The answers of these questions, are not that complicated.

Perhaps we need an easier view of things.

To me, dreams are an ongoing thing AND they are a state of mind more than an actual attainment of a goal. To live your dreams is to live life as you want... going for things that you want to experience or create, all along the way! What stops us is when we have beliefs that we don't "deserve" those good things (or whatever) and so then we live our lives to pay the bills only. :-(

Hey lisa thanks for posting this. I want to tell you something, dreams have an endless continuiety. Meaning that people always dream about things that they don't have. If you ask any one in the developing world what their dream is, it would be the life of me and you (education, health, etc).

I think this is a worthwhile project and it will prove to be a very interesting documentary because the answers will be so different based on each subject. Hello Lilou!! Thank you for your video response. You are so inspiring. The camera I held up is a Canon XL-1. It's old. It's not HD. (A friend is letting me use it!) But footage that I have shot so far for my doc is shot on a Sony HD camera. I have a camera person that shoots and then I use the Canon for b-roll.
