Jamie is also the writer and original artist of the song "50,000 Names" which George Jones recorded. Jamie's version of that one is the best. As much as I like Jamie and this song, I admit I prefer the version Trisha Yearwood did with Raul Malo. In any case, Jamie (who also wrote "Grandpa Tell Me Bout The Good Old Days") is one of country music's unsung treasures.
