For those who are having trouble talking to the woman at the gate because the game is saying that she is and enemy, I have the soulution. This is because the guards of winterhold are probably dead and none are around to fine/arrest you. You must go to a dead winterhold guard, open up console commands (the ~ button), click on the guard, and then type in "resurrect" into the console commands, then push enter. The guard will be revived and you must either go to jail or pay the fine. Done!

She told me to cast "fireball". When I do she's set on fire cause she's standing 1.5 fucking metres away from the "eye-platform" & says that she's being attacked. @a1c3d5d The same thing happened to me earlier, you probably have a bounty on your head. Revert save or get out of the town and then you can earn some money, once you go back there you can just pay off you debt instead of going to jail/ paying with your blood.

How do you get the fear spell to work on her? I choose the fire and ice answer to the question and she had me do fear and it says "Faralda is too powerful for the fear". Is there anyway to fix that or other ways to get into the College?

@jkrych26 I think if you choose fire and ice it gives you fear, the other ones are magelight and healing hands. I dont know if you can change your answer, but if you can choose a different one.
