This is what plate racing is suppose to be like. IMO they should bring back the old cars to make the racing exciting again. As it is now its boring. I no long sit at the edge of my seat.
Junior isnt a bad driver, think about it, why do you think every big team always has that one car that under performs? It looks like Earnhardt Jr. closed the door on Waltrip. He had a little push but Earnhardt blocked the inside and that was that. Waltrip made several attempts to pass him but never got the help he needed to make that final pass.

@97ledzepp Did you see the 2007 Daytona 500? Harvick went from 7th to 1st on the outside in TWO LAPS. It happens. DEI had superior cars at ALL restrictor plate tracks until after about 2004, and it wasnt because the races were "fixed" it was because they just made better cars. Waltrip and Jr. finished 1 and 2 multiple more times after this in plate races too. Of coarse, i cant prove to you that this race, or any wasnt fixed. If you still think this race was fixed, well i guess thats your opinion

I, like many others, have never really cared for Jr. But this win was something that everyone was rooting for and most true race fans couldn't help but shed a few tears when he crossed the finish line. Passionate racing right there.
Dale Earnhardt Inc and Petty Enterprises, the two best teams of NASCAR EVER!!! This was an emotional moment! I remember it, I was at my grandfather's home, with flags supporting the DEI guys, and remebering The Intimidator. I almost cried while watching the celebration, so beautiful, and Jr's driving in this race... simply PERFECT.

People make fun of NASCAR, and how sad people were about Dale Sr.'s death. The fact that there is a 9/11 video suggestion to the right, should explain how devistating it was for Dale Sr. to die, because the 3 dying to nascar fans was the twin towers being hit to the rest of America.

What I love about this is that coming up Dale Earnhardt HATED DW. But after Dale was gone the Waltrips rallied around Dale Jr. That's just good stuff to me.

Like it Or Not, Dale Jr. Is the Most Overrated Nascar Driver ever. It's Been 94 Races Since he has won, And hes probably not going to win next week at Bristol either.
He's Only had 18 Sprint cup wins since he started in 1999. Kyle Busch since 2004 In the Sprint cup already has 19 wins, 44 wins in nationwide series.

Dale Earnhardt Inc and Petty Enterprises, the two best teams of NASCAR EVER!!! This was an emotional moment! I remember it, I was at my grandfather's home, with flags supporting the DEI guys, and remebering The Intimidator. I almost cried while watching the celebration, so beautiful, and Jr's driving in this race... simply PERFECT.

i can't believe after 10 years people are still so emotional to not question that these races talladega-daytona 2001-2005 were fixed. not because i hate em or anything, its just obvious. no driver can pull away by himself here, he did, no driver can content with serious aero damage, he did. are we not watching the same video, he is clearly faster than any other car in a race where everyone is suppose to be the same
