Lada Niva extrem down hill

I can't decide between dacia and lada. Both are cheap, both can take me out of snow and in both i can take the rear sits to make place for my dogs......

i drove 1 for 9 years off road car only broke a timing guide (its a peace of tin foil they put to guide the timing chain) twice this only made the chain rattle so no big problem the electric problems that others report was easy to stop wd40/oil

the niva is a real beaver ask anyone who off roads

He is not giveing any gas man...

The car is going down propably in first gear.The engine is trying to stop the car so the rpms are going wild....If you see the vid again you will see that when he hits the brake you cant hear at the engine

i don't agree, he gives gas when he is much stuck in...and when you are in first or 2nd gear, teh engine does lots of noise to keep a small speet when it's going down

@skourias87 hi skourias, i am afraid you are wrong. He is giving gas because in the beginning of the hill, he has to locate the car on 4 wheels. First he puts the front 2 wheels (he gives gas), then he gives gas to take the remaning 2 wheels. He is not probably in first gear, he is FOR SURE in the first gear. There is no other alternative. The rpms are not going wild because the hill is not a straight one, there isnt much engine stop in this video. He mostly use brakes, cause he has to use.
