Thx for the insight LoneSerpent. I get that he believes "certain changes are not promoting positive growth for our society" - I just disagree with him. I believe more choices & more voices are a good thing & he doesn't.

But, thx for offering a different view. I hope folks will read Keen's book & leave their thoughts here. U should make a video response! I'd love to have a solid opposing view laid out!

I'm not surprised that you took the book personally. He doesn't expect you to agree with him completely, but to have an open mind as you read about the pros and cons of Web 2.0.

You don't seem to realize that he actually loves technology and isn't anti-progress. He believes that certain changes aren't promoting positive growth for our society.

By the way, you have an older copy in your hands, though the new version makes slight changes such as new foreword, and a look on Web 2.0 and politics.
