  • Thanks for doing this Dave, I am a CAP cadet in the California wing myself ad I am planning on Air Force ROTC.

  • i am in CAP currently :D come visit us were in yonkers NY

  • thats awesome being an ambassador of the hobby, my dad and my uncles got me into it when i was very young, dont remember my first plane, but i know it had an .049 with U-line control, then as a teen i started building the gullows rubber powered planes and just progressed from there. but to this day, i dont know whick i get more enjoyment out of, the build or the actual flying

  • The music is so catchy! OOooOOOAAAOOOoooOOOOOO... nice video its good to see people interested in the same hobby

  • We love you, Dave!

  • Awesome as always.

  • your welcome

  • I had a great time there Dave. We should go again sometime or maybe visit the Windom RC club. Great job on the video. Really enjoyed it.

  • Hi dave,

could you do some videos on your e-sky 900 because i am very interested in that helicopter, maybe you could show us what setup you have on it and a little flying

  • NightFlyyer,

Thanks for giving back to the community, Hopefully you inspired not only future RC enthusiasts, but also future engineers. I think we would like our flying cars now.

  • Glad to see the appreciation . also glad you recorded it .. Man Jeff is one hell of a flier compared to his early videos ...WELL DONE GUYS

  • Great job Dave.. good that you can inspire these young men with your love of aviation.

  • nice demo, keep up the great work Dave and Jeff !

  • Nice show dave. Have you ever thought of setting up a couple of transmitters with a trainer switch so the people you're showing could have a bit of a try?

  • Great Show

  • I say, good show, old chap!

    ;-)

  • Nice video Mr. Herbert. It's good to see young people listening and learning. You and Jeff did a nice job flying. Thanks for the video.

  • @BryansFlyin Thanks kindly Bryan. We appreciate your comments.

  • i was in CAP but didnt really like it. my squadron didnt really do much with aviation... it was mainly rugby @_@ but now i know i guess, plus the military life-style isnt for me.....

  • the black guy at 7:23 looks excited to be there! :l

  • is that a AFJROTC or AFROTC

and i wish you could come to my schools AFJROTC cause me and MSGT Will have a cessna but he does'nt have a clue how to work it so im going to help him out

  • If you could do this why did my squadron never get interseted in me teaching the cadets about my Blade Cp pro! Aerospace officer for 1 month until we got a new sinior member to screw up my plans THANKS CAP!

  • @Helicopterpilot16 sorry about that but my MSGT and i are both gonna teach aerodynamics with rockets and some rc planes just convince him that its almost just like the real thingand just offer to take him to the flying field

  • Awesome! do you like planes or helis better? Im joining cap when i turn 12

  • Comment removed

  • Did you do 3d with the 3 d helis?

  • Great video! But i didnt think radio controled vehicles were allowed within a certain proximity to active airports

  • @snipingfox no if you have perrmisson you can fly in airports but you have to land when a Real plane it get ready to take of or land

  • Great community service!. Jeff, when are you going to do another video?

  • I am in CAP too. I have a meeting tonight actually. Everyone there is like go AF. I just laugh because I am going to be a marine!

  • Awesome work Dave, great of you and Jeff to do some demos :-)

  • im in cap

  • @kangmana09 Thank you for serving.

  • for almost 2 years now i've been wondering this one question every time i watch your videos dave........were does the music come from ??!?!??!?! its driving me crazy, not knowing.....lol

can you attach one of those estes rockets to a plane ? just to make it go a bit faster ?

  • @flyingchimp99 Like I have said many times and even shown how in videos, I make most of my own music. This time is is from MEP 14 Plus software. Any incendiary device is against AMA regulations for use on model planes and voids insurance. However, one of my shuttle videos shows us using rockets on the planes in a controlled environment, and it is a quick boost for sure.

  • Good video Dave, I wonder how many of the CAP 's you have inspired to take up R/C flying, or maybe use an R/C aircraft for search and rescue. I have heard that some Cap's and Law Enforcement are useing them. Tom

  • Respond to this video... Hi Tom. If I inspired just one, that would be worth it all. I appreciate your comments and happy flying to you too.

  • Great video. You sure are active!

  • Dave, I think it is very nice of you to spend your own time to share with our youth. You a good man. God bless.

  • @TheGospelGuitarist Thanks very kindly for your remarks. I appreciate that.

  • im in civil air patrol up in mn

  • @werno175 Congrats. That is very commendable.

  • Very inspiring as always. :-) Thank you!

  • was jeff a vietnam buddy?

  • @beastly239 No he was not.

  • Haha the rocket was really nice! And ofcourse all your flights were : )

  • @RockTouching Thanks kindly.

  • Civil Air Patrol! woot woot. Glad someone actually knows about us!

  • @scooterking85 Great. Hopefully more will now.

  • did u fly the Nexus upside down for them??

  • @FSXTout No. It is an antique and not a hot rod, but I did roll and loop.

  • 1:23 HAHA ^^ bird huntig action XD

  • Very nice video Dave, it's certainly heartwarming to hear the crown applauding you!

  • Why no 3D, Dave? Too many people too close?

  • @spazman13579 Were you there, cause I guess you missed my 3D to make that kind of comment? We did lots of flying and I just showed parts of it so the video is under 10 min. I did mild 3d, because I like to always take everything home intact. I've watched too many planes and people get hurt by people who show off TOO much....like the guy who fell off the wing or the biplane that crashed this week. My motto is, you can fly all the spastic stuff you want, but if you cant land, it means nothing.

  • @NightFlyyer That's fine Dave; I can totally understand that. And yeah, for a 10min video, you have to get in only what you can. I was actually at that event here in Michigan when he fell off the helicopter skid... I had live video of it, but I didn't think it would be right to put it no the Internet.

  • first!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
