thats awesome being an ambassador of the hobby, my dad and my uncles got me into it when i was very young, dont remember my first plane, but i know it had an .049 with U-line control, then as a teen i started building the gullows rubber powered planes and just progressed from there. but to this day, i dont know whick i get more enjoyment out of, the build or the actual flying
could you do some videos on your e-sky 900 because i am very interested in that helicopter, maybe you could show us what setup you have on it and a little flying
Thanks for giving back to the community, Hopefully you inspired not only future RC enthusiasts, but also future engineers. I think we would like our flying cars now.
I used to be in the civil air patrol until i found out that i needed knee surgery and couldnt be in the military anymore. I am glad that you go to teach kids about stuff like this weather its school or any other program. bless you. Its very kind
Nice show dave. Have you ever thought of setting up a couple of transmitters with a trainer switch so the people you're showing could have a bit of a try?
i was in CAP but didnt really like it. my squadron didnt really do much with aviation... it was mainly rugby @_@ but now i know i guess, plus the military life-style isnt for me.....
and i wish you could come to my schools AFJROTC cause me and MSGT Will have a cessna but he does'nt have a clue how to work it so im going to help him out
If you could do this why did my squadron never get interseted in me teaching the cadets about my Blade Cp pro! Aerospace officer for 1 month until we got a new sinior member to screw up my plans THANKS CAP!
@Helicopterpilot16 sorry about that but my MSGT and i are both gonna teach aerodynamics with rockets and some rc planes just convince him that its almost just like the real thingand just offer to take him to the flying field
for almost 2 years now i've been wondering this one question every time i watch your videos dave........were does the music come from ??!?!??!?! its driving me crazy, not knowing.....lol
can you attach one of those estes rockets to a plane ? just to make it go a bit faster ?
@flyingchimp99 Like I have said many times and even shown how in videos, I make most of my own music. This time is is from MEP 14 Plus software. Any incendiary device is against AMA regulations for use on model planes and voids insurance. However, one of my shuttle videos shows us using rockets on the planes in a controlled environment, and it is a quick boost for sure.
Good video Dave, I wonder how many of the CAP 's you have inspired to take up R/C flying, or maybe use an R/C aircraft for search and rescue. I have heard that some Cap's and Law Enforcement are useing them. Tom
@spazman13579 Were you there, cause I guess you missed my 3D to make that kind of comment? We did lots of flying and I just showed parts of it so the video is under 10 min. I did mild 3d, because I like to always take everything home intact. I've watched too many planes and people get hurt by people who show off TOO much....like the guy who fell off the wing or the biplane that crashed this week. My motto is, you can fly all the spastic stuff you want, but if you cant land, it means nothing.
@NightFlyyer That's fine Dave; I can totally understand that. And yeah, for a 10min video, you have to get in only what you can. I was actually at that event here in Michigan when he fell off the helicopter skid... I had live video of it, but I didn't think it would be right to put it no the Internet.
I watched your videos ever seince i was 9 and now im a cadet in civil air patrol thanks for coming out.
