  • I was wondering why borax is no longer available in the UK. Borax is all natural and non-toxic. How very interesting. I wonder if the same is true for the borax substitute - that it is all natural and non-toxic. Anyway, very nice post. I love your kitchen- it is lovely.

    No because borax (and borax substitute as borax is no longer available in the UK) has a mild brightening effect. Google 'dri-pak' and head to the Laundry section for more info.
