I noticed you had a nice smooth toss and took off beautifully, I was wondering what size battery and esc you have, I'm thinking you are pretty light ?
I just purchased this arf kit! $30 only!!! I plan to put in a 65mm 4000KV e-flite motor/fan unit, and a 60A e-flite esc, and a 4cell battery.(same setup as my L-39 which goes over 105MPH)! Is the battery compartment big enough for a 4cell 1300mAh or 1600mAh?
...For $30 I couldn't pass this up! Especially since I have the servos, receiver, and EDF motor/fan sitting here waiting to be used! Just need to get another 60A esc!
I just bought an F-117 from nitroplanes - my FIRST jet :) Soon I will get the HABU by parkzone! But the $70 some price tag on the F-117 RXR was to inexpensive to pass out! Hopefully it flies well. You fly that thing great! what brand is it?
@leokimvideo The synapse is fun and agile for its size. It is much faster than any of those EDF's that you can buy through nitro planes, but costs more. I still have a F18 to put together that I bought through nitro planes last year. lol...
Is it the rr version with the supplied servos I have one (to scared to fly just yet with my skill level) my servos sound pretty rough and ive heard they can fail after a couple of flights. Is your C of g in rcommended place.
Yes, I bought the RxR version. I was a little bit scared myself before I flew it and it is quite a handfull to fly. I had to play with the CG because I bought the largest lipo, but I think the CG is close to specs. Thanks for the comment.
It is an 11.1 volt 1250mAh 20c lipo. I have the larger sized lipo recomended by the manufacturer and only fly it for about 6 to 7 minutes. This is to still have plenty of power for the landing and not to drain the lipo down as that can shorten the life span as well. Thanks for the comment.
You did a great job flying that! The Synapse is a pretty fast jet, and has an awesome roll rate. Your wife did a good job keeping up to it with the camera... it isn't easy, trust me! I'm told by my camera lady that if she stands back a ways from where I'm flying it's a lot easier to film.
i like this jet how much? also what is missing that is necessary for this rc? what is edf?

Is this 64 or 55mm EDF?
thechoosendude 1 year ago
@thechoosendude Its a small edf. Tower hobbies still sells this plane if you are interested in it.

@joehandsome99
Shortly after that post I found out it was the 55mm Hyperflow. You think there's any way I can stick a 64mm in there with some modifications?
thechoosendude 1 year ago
@thechoosendude I think you could. The plane is plenty fast though.

@earthling1984 I hate posting comments before proof-reading, but it ALWAYS happens lol. *Too inexpensive to pass up*

Always loved dusted fan models, the very early versions were usually under powered. Even at half speed this thing looks like it's a missile

looks similar to the multiplex funjet

@remotecontrolaholic this was my first EDF. It torque rolls easily on the take off, but other than that it is a fun plane.

Great flying. Really cool plane. I think I am going to buy one. Maybe no music next video. I love to hear the screaming engine.

I'll see if I still have this video footage and upload it again. The edf in this plane is cool to hear.

Thanks for the video.
I have mine siting at home waiting for some lipos.
I bought the RxR version, I noticed that you are using the stock servos, any problems with them at this time?
Also,
It seems it launches prety good.... some people complaint about hard launching... please provide your experience.
Thanks for a nice video!!!

I appreciate the comment. It is a little bit harder than flying a foamie, but still just as fun. Thanks again.

Good work! I think you did just fine Candy! It is near impossible to keep up with some of the "squirrelly" planes. Looks fun Eric.

Thanks for the kind words James. Yes she did have a little bit of trouble keeping it in sight, but really did do a good job.

Nice flight. I've seen these in the stores. Looks like it flies pretty good. Let's see some more.
