  • Another microphone out into the nave would have been great. St. Andrew's is a massive place with a wonderful accoustic. Thankfully the recording paused right after the piece. That cipher was a real bugger.

  • I hear an Oboe ciphering at the end. Why it is in my favorites! I hear the room singing in the rests. For quite a while. That is impressive!

  • Hi Steve, it's the last piece in the short collection entitled "Six Lyrical Pieces, OP 116", published by HW Gray. Each piece is about the same in length, though I'm not sure they're all quite as "lyrical" as the Trumpet Tune. All the best !

  • It's a 1930's Austin pipe organ. Unfortunately, the recording doesn't do the instrument (or the accoustics) of this place justice. Thanks Steve.

  • I think it sounds just fine. I just love Flor Peeters......he is just not done enough. Good selection for Palm Sunday.

  • @gwtarasuk01 Dear Sir: What book is this trumpet piece in? I want to order it but am unsure of what to order. Is it sheet music or in a book? Best Regards, S. McMullen.

  • @gwtarasuk01 III/41 1951 Austin Opus 2134 that is being worked on both mechanically and tonally for a future concert series at the parish. Hi George!

  • Who is the maker of this organ?

  • Very beautiful. You are fortunate to have an organist who is aware, let alone perform such quality music.....
