  • How do you pull back your project (without interfering with the finished cut) to make room for a 5 sec color bar cilp within the time line? I could really use the help.

  • this may be late but,...

sometimes you can just slip it into the front but if that doesn't work you can just select all the clips you have and just pull them all back to make space for your color bar.

If you're exporting this for a dv tape, you could also just add in a color bar when you export.

  • How do you add a 5sec Color Bar with Tone to your time-line in Final Cut? Could really use your help.

  • If you look at the viewer slug (the window in the middle) if you click on the little "A" in a box/film thingy you'll see a list of things like bars and tones and slugs and type, etc. pick one (I use the NTSC since... that's what you use in America??) and either adjust the length there or just drag it down to the time line and cut it there.

    Hope that helps!

  • If you want to see a really cool effect, add Light Rays (I forget exactly the proper properties) then Solarize then Channel Swap (Red from Blue, Green from Red, Blue from Inverse Blue, Alpha from Alpha) then Brightness & Contrast (Brightness = 0, Contrast = All the way up.)

  • yei color bars!! i really liked the experimenting towards the end, kind of want to see more of it! go jane.
