Fantastic voice too! Although, of course it isn't our Don (but who is? Howlin' Wolf...) but of course, you weren't trying to be Van Vliet, you were only being Andy Roberts, and you certainly can't complain about that.
Yeah, this is really good (favourited!). I have been trying to form a Beefheart tribute band for over a decade now, but it is so rare to find fans (nevermind fans my own age, which is 30 now but especially when i was 20).

No... I'm loving this! Are we going to get more, mate? I really hope so. C'mon, give us some more. Would love to hear Booglarise You Baby, Aba Zabba, Moonlight on Vermont. You could get out your electric and slide and smash us all with Big Eyed Beans from Venus (seriously though, do you play that? I've struggled for years to learn the part around 2min 30sec into the song. It's absolutely immense!)

Anyway, I apologise for these posts, I know they read like the ramblings of a drugged horse but I was really excited when I came across your vid (well, y'know, not "came across" it, I wasn't THAT excited), even more so when I realised how good it is!

nice smooth guitar, you didnt reeeeely get the captains voice but then who can! ;) but still one of the best covers since jack white came out with his 45 of the captains songs!

Thanks. Yes, this is in standard tuning, if a tone or so below concert pitch. Mostly just E major, simple stuff really!
