What I had intended, as I also wrote before the subtitles was that we together would find out what Johnny was saying. I suppose it was "singing" then, even though I couldn't hear that myself even though I listened to it 100 times. I knew it wasn't "13th" or whatever I wrote - just something to start from, and I figured that would do for a while.

To be honest, I think that is true (the examples) for those who live in the region - many english can't understand johnny properly.

you should watch the episode with him called "hypothetical" unless you haven't, where they talk about whether a tree made a sound if no one heard it. Then when Alan answers a question which stephen doesn't hear Johnny says the same and almost gets the points. When Alan says he said that before Johnny adds "no because sound is just a thing, and it didn't travel" :D
