@Pantomime4castaways Amen to the whole world part. I'm sorry your "friend" reacted that way. One blessing I've found through struggling with POTS is that you learn who your real friends are.
Oh my gosh. I've been told acid reflux, ovarian cysts, and anxiety disorder. I was put on anti-anxiety medication 2-3 times, and they couldn't figure out why it didn't help as much as it should have.
I too has all of those! the ovarian cyst one was pretty ridiculous considering the cyst that they DID find was miniscule and could not have been causing DIZZYNESS as well as the nausea and pain. some doctors are so ridiculous! hope you're feeling better!
Not yet...just found out about this about a week ago. Up till now, I've had no clue what might be wrong with me, but this just fits...every single thing that has been wrong makes sense with this. But there's no POTs doctors around her. But I watched Kyli's video with tips on handling it, and I'm going to start using those ideas, while I try to find someone who knows what this is.
GREAT VIDEO!!! Can't wait to see the whole movie. that is terrible about the UK, it is kinda similar here is Australia, i was very lucky i found the doctor i did.
Good video, it would be nice for this to be sent to the British National Health Service in the UK. Incredibly, they are still locking people in mental institutions who have POTS - claiming POTS is a 'belief', despite them testing positive on a TILT test. (This happened to me in 2004) and still happens to this day in the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queens Square, London.
I am glad my American allies take a scientific approach to the care of the sick and disabled.
Looking forward to the whole video, the trailer is great! I live with POTS and it's just so hard sometimes, so this video looks like it will bring hope.
wow that girl that speaks at the very beginning is soo awesome! she's so hopefull and so beautiful!! ...ohh and she's my best friend in the whole wide world:)

I ordered this at dinet.org a week ago. If anyone else has ordered it do you know how long it takes to get to your house?

If it is a free documentary, why don't you release it in the Internet?
There's thousands of people who would benefit! Why not?

I reallly hope the DVD comes out soon I want to get a few copies and send them to people who don't understand POTS.
That'll be the whole world then.
I once did a class presentation to my 'friend' on Dysautonomia, who promptly told me I should 'try harder'.
People just don't understand, or simply refuse to believe. Can't wait for this to come out.
