  • Not in the RnR Hall of Fame? Shame on them. One of the best of the 80's with one of the best, most hyperactive drummers ever. Still love the Japanese themed drumset. Drooled over it for months when I first saw it.

  • This song is arousing for some reason lol

  • saw Pat in Santa Rosa, Ca. 2010.. and she.sounds just as good as she did..... back in the day when I saw her in the big arenas. GO Pat. ROCK ON>

  • I Loved her then and I love her now. The memories of my youth ring with the sound of her voice. This woman was- and is- a class act who knows how to kick ass.

I remember cutting class in the early 80's with Joey Bigica and fat Lorraine and then going over to a friends house whose parents weren't home, we had a record player, a six pack, and Pat Benatar.

Today, when I hear her songs, I'm 17 again- a time when I believed I have my youth and my friends, forever.

PAT BENATAR IS THE QUEEN OR ROCK!

  • I saw her last night (5-30-10) at Speed Street in Charlotte the night before the Coca-Cola 600...... Wow, she was amazingIIII I figured at age 57 her voice might have lost a notch or two.... BOY WAS I WRONG!!! Her voice echoed off of the skyscrapers downtown with about 30k in attendance. She used it as a weapon all night.... I can't say enough!!!! BLOWN AWAY!!!!!!

Down here in Charlotte... WE LOVE YOU Mrs. Benatar. Plz come back and do it again next year!!!

  • you are so on the money when it comes to her

  • @dls61964 love Pat, so many girls and movies show good sweet women singing Carly Simon, but a movie needs to be made about the HEART and the inside fire and blaze of the women who Loves and connects with Pat and who she becomes. It's past time.

  • I see her everytime she comes around, and she STILL Rocks your face off!!!

    She is Soooo Awesome!!!!!

  • No doubt. But it's her 1983 ass I wanna see rocking!

  • She is a Spunkrat. Pure. Unadulterated. Spunkrat. When timetravel becomes commonplace (and affordable) I shall travel back to 1983 to meet her...

  • HEY!!!

She is STILL out there rocking her ass off.

GO SEE HER AT THE NEXT CONCERT

It's a lot cheaper and less risky than time travel Micall11

  • whoa I forgot about this song..this is awesome..i cant tell if thats a cigerette or a sucker stick..I hear shes just as rockin as ever. I play a couple of her songs in my band, Gerado is an amazing guitarist..his leads are a lot of fun,,very structured..thanks to whoever posted this!

  • I think Neil Geraldo is one of the most underrated guitarists. His playing fit perfectly in the mix and complimented Pat's amazing voice.

  • Is Neil Geraldo the one with the cig in his mouth.

  • yes

  • Cool Drummer ! She is coming to Austin TX August 20th will not miss that show with Blondie!

  • Myron Grombacher...bad dude.

  • Its not in her playlist wish it was though

  • Love you Ms. Pat!

  • for all haters of pat..she has a 5 octave range..and where is your album and your awards..and she has lasting power cuz she has been around for YEARS and she and her band aren't going anywhere anytime soon...SHE IS THE BOMB and the reason i started singing when i heard 'hell is for children' when i was 15...and i got to share a stage with her..so if you don't have anything nice to say...keep it to yourself...cuz you can't beat miss benatar..Cudos to you pat and your band..

  • Comment removed

  • Why do people rag on Pat Benetar's husband? Pat Benetar's married, deal with it!

  • I always thought Neil Geraldo was a weak link in the Benatar Project. They needed a Adrian Vandenberg or a Neil Schon style super guitarist.

  • Neil Geraldo was sexy before he nastied him self with all those tatoos..helluva guitarist though. I love him and Pat together.

  • hey its steven segal on bass!

  • I 've seen her in concert recently. She still does a great show!

  • People like Pat benatar shoulda neba ebbed ova time, no matter how heavily associated she was with one decade. She's still fresh, an' she can still outrock so many so called singas.

  • cool!!!

  • I love this song, Pat is fab!!

  • Number one all time chic rock band in the world, no one can sing; even close like her......And I can not believe her husband is smoking a cigarette while playing lead guitar..............Incredible

  • YEa, hes smoking and shes pregnate, Actually I think its a sucker

  • I always loved this song. Underrated.

  • Benatar was good at what she did, and this song was one of her better offerings. Classic 80's tunes fit together like pieces of a puzzle, forming the 1980's into ten years of great memories.

  • 1982............. she ownsssssssssssss

  • "Only so much I can take"

  • I love her

  • stunning legs!

  • God, she was/still is so damn sexy...I've seen her every tour since the beginning and she still has one of the best voices I've ever heard..her husband is a great guitarist to boot!

  • Pat Rocks!

  • rocker-chik attitude. I LOVE it. A woman with cojones!!

  • her husband is reallllly fine, good for you pat!

  • Saw Pat at the Fillmore 2008. Rock on Pat. Come back to the Fillmore ... we are waiting.

  • I was going to dedicate this to my ex, but I might as well dedicate this song to myself as well considering what I put a much better guy through. It hurts but I'd understand if the new guy wants nothing to do with me.

  • Pat Benatar= Queen of the early MTV days....yes even before Madonna.

  • This is a great song and NO I AM GLAD I don't have to breath your second hand smoke and get emphazema ,lung cancer ,heart attack and strokes....

  • @northernxstar -- Get over yourself. People like you might make for cleaner air. But certainly no fun at all.

  • The best^^

  • This is a great song.

And it was back in the day where you could smoke ANYWHERE! I wish it was like that now.

  • AMEN to that!! (on all counts!)

  • Agreed!

If only it was like that now.

  • Great Song!....Her 80's concerts were pretty much always sold out....

  • This is my favorite song by her!

  • I agree wuth Tachox2 this definately is my favorite Pat son....it kicks ass..another reason growing up in the 80's was the best.

  • Can someone please post the studio version of Precious Time? THX!

  • cool song

  • pat your rock!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • She nails this song. My favorite from her.

  • Just my opinion, but I highly doubt brandonlivingstonnoclass would get past Neil Giraldo.

  • One hot song and singer. Thanks for posting!

  • Fuck you, bradonlivgston!!!

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE PAT B!!!! ^^

  • yummy, pat benatar

  • Love it!! Myron Grombacher is one ugly drummer, but he totally rocks!!

This is my favorite song by PB.

  • A++++++ Great song and video..I wore my albun out listening to this song...This song wouldnt be what it is without the key boards..it was not done to make it more radio friendly, it was just a trend to use alot of synthesizers in the early 80's... Pat is just another reason growing up in the early 80's was the best.

  • i could've went to her concert but i had other plans! we got tickets but we still couldn't go! that sucks!

  • The keyboards water this song down too much. This song would have sounded much better in their early days when they were a two-guitar band. I think that the Pat Benatar Band went with a more keyboard sound to become more radio-friendly and AOR to sell more records. MTV was pushing for more pop sounding music after 1983. Their format changed to pop and the Pat Benatar Band wanted to go with this new format and direction.

  • Get real, SARATT69! The keyboards make the song!!!

  • A great song!!!

  • Good song. Kinda punky. Good bass backing. Peace

  • Pat were is it?

  • 1 femme comme on en fait plus

  • Why oh why won't she include this in their setlists?

  • I think Shirley Manson of Garbage took everything she knows from Pat!

  • i love this song Pat benatar rules

  • she was an ex opera singer...she sounds good

  • awesome song can't find it anywhere... this is to my ex i hope he gets the message lol love you pat your lyrics always hit home for me one of the many talents of the 80's and the most memorable

  • I love these guys. They have their own unique sound. Great live band too! This song brings back some memories.

  • oh, just luv pat b.!!!

  • umm boys . . . . This is Woman!!!

    WOW~!

  • Pat Benatar Is the ALL TIME GREATEST!!! QUEEN OF ROCK FOR SURE!

  • dots in a circle ... cool ...

  • This ex-opera singer blew me away in her Anxiety tour which rocked ! This lady has it all and still looks and feels great today . . . her voice has taken its toll and she doesn't belt them out quite so rambunctiously !

  • Holy Shit!! I haven't seen this since the early 80's!! FLASHBACKS!!!!

  • Why is she not in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame?

  • Uhhhh, Amen to that !!!!!

  • GO PAT YOU ROCK!!!~

  • She is such a bad ass! I want her to have my babies!!!!!!!!

  • Brunette power!!!

  • What the hell year was this? I've having flashbacks of Quarterflash, Nazareth, and JGeils Band. Help!

  • haha i think this was 1982. i was in high school then and am having the same flashback!

  • I just think she moves my spirit

  • Well YEA that works

  • this song made my high school so much fun .... just looove this song!!!

  • My fave Pat Benatar song out of all of them.

  • Reallly like this song!!!

  • love her voice

  • This woman is classicaly trained and can just sing!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Pat

  • Love this song! It rocks!!!

  • 20 years ago Kids are still going to be listening to Pat Benatar! WHOOO!

  • All I have to say is YES!!! Thanks for posting.

  • I wished everyone would focus on the increedable music of one of The HOTTEST Bands of the 80s.FOCUS !!

  • I have been. I was focusing just a week ago with this song at an obnoxious volume level while driving. ;)

  • It was the 80's c'mon folks, everyone smoked back then and it was everywhere, tv, celebs, vids like this. It was a different time. It sure doesn't take away from their talent! :) Love this chick! she rocks! :)

  • I wonder where drummer Myron Grombacher is these days? I don't see him in the later videos.

  • I got an answer about Myron from Pat's fan club. Myron left touring after the 1995 tour to spend time with his family and is living in L.A.

  • Yeah, doing drum clinics now and then. That's about all I have heard.

  • Myron is an amazing drummer. I first heard him and Neil on later releases by Rick Derringer (they were in his backing band).

  • And besides, if we're going to comment on health issues, I think it's a safe statement to make that obesity is outweighing the smokers nowadays in the U.S. by a wide margin.

  • Hey, almost thirty years later I bet they wish they didn't smoke...ask Eddie Van Halen...it also looks foolish to smoke and play guitar at the same time...thats all I'm sayin........

  • I saw a photo recently of Neil and his team that had completed the Hana Relay race (52 miles , mind you) and finished second in their division. No to mention a vitamin supplement company he has called "On The Rock Nutrition." They have a website. I don't think he's hurting much having had those cigs back then.

I'm more than certain he doesn't smoke now.

  • Um...Slash, anyone?

  • Oh please with the cigarette

  • I could do without the cigarette hanging out of her hubby's mouth...........

  • Yeah but it's Neil Geraldo - he's F%$*in allowed.

  • Errr Giraldo. oops.

  • She started in the 70's

  • Awesome to see this again! Thanks. I had this on L.P. vinyl back when I was like 15! I may actually still have it stored. . .

  • Pat looks great, but terrible editing. You would think that when Pat hits her acapella the cameras would be on her alone, but it pans. Tool.

  • still loving this. (:

  • Its allmost painful to hear this again, realizing all the talent and style lost to the 80's.

I'd give anything to go back.

Pat Benatar, the Queen of Rock!

  • Kids today are getting so robbed. We had everything from Pat, to the Pixies, to Public Enemy. You know how older generations are supposed to not understand the newer generation's music? Well I think we're the first to say back to them, ours kicked more ass.
