  • What size snare is that?

  • Everybody will tell you something different. For instance, the sales associate at my local Guitar Center told me never to get an acrylic snare because "no audio engineer can make them sound good and you will end up not using it". I bought one, and I am an audio engineer, and I love the way it sounds for lots of different styles. I have found that I am able to tune it and get whatever sound I want out of it. As far as durability, it has held up great for me, but I don't play live with this kit.

  • i think the pdp snare is actually brilliant for the price range, i wudnt change my snare for the world, i think its brilliant. Oh yeh, just to ask, whats to test on this drum kit Lol????

  • Yeah the pdp snare was pretty cool, I just have always wanted an acrylic and Pork Pie makes badass drums. In the vid, I had just bought the kit after not having drums for 2 years (never again!) so I just wanted to test out the new kit, play around on it.

  • i find it funny that the majority of youtubers that have the X7 also have pork pie snares . including me

  • haha yeah that is kinda funny, never noticed it. i had two reasons:

    1) going from an actual DW kit to a pdp was kind of hurting, although that was what my pocketbook currently allowed for

    2) i have always wanted an acrylic drum or drumset, and i love the way it looks, and naturally, pork pie was the best available for my price range :)

  • @connordrums and me:)
