the interdependence of groups on people on other groups has not changed much and i don't see how it will change much in the future.
yes, there is more economic interdependence between states. but that often leads to war. like the USA are dependent on the oil of other nations. but that doesn't make them more peacefull. instead they take the oil by force, waging war on the oil rich states, and this might be the economically smartest strategy.
and yes one group of people depends on the other group to not destroy the environment for all. but again this problem can be solved with war better than with peace. if you kill the other group they will not pollute the environment anymore.
what advances peace is not the outer circumstances of our times, but the inner consciousness of everybody.
