Encyclopaedia Metallum and Wikipedia have them listed under melodic death metal. IMHO the first thing that comes to mind when listening to Deadlight album is melodic death metal. I havent heard much of there other stuff, so maby they sound different on other albums \m/

well wiki is done by volunteers...i think when you listen to Naildown, Arch Enemy, InFlames you can hear the whole setup, the tuning is different. the patterns, the feeling, the vibe isn't so deathy in BTD. I's stick with dark/goth metal. anyway rock on! BTD ROCKS!
