Some people think a two state solution would be good, but personally I favor a one state solution. A democratic, secular state where all people have equal rights and religious freedom. Force has been tried for about the past 60 years, it hasn't worked and can't possibly work as long as someone is left to fight. Not all palestinians want israel wiped off the map, and a political solution is possible, but it has to address the refugee problem and both parties have to compromise.

There were about 1 million arabs in Palestine when Israel arrived. 650,000 left for other arab lands hoping to return later when the surrounding arab nations destroyed them in a war - never managed to do that. The Palestinians bomb Israel - Isreal retaliates - what is wrong with that. The Palestinians were offered citezenship when Israel was made a state in 1948 - some accept, some declined and left. The Arab nations then pushed them back in. The Palestinians have lived in several places since then, - Jordan and Tunisia. Both times were kicked out.

Israel did not offer everyone citizenship. It is well documented even by israeli historians, that 1948 was ethnic cleansing. The only ones who remained are the ones who managed to resist the attacks and defend their villages until the fighting was over. Don't take my word for it, look at the israeli historians, like Benny Morris. He admits it was ethnic cleansing, but he says it was a good thing, because it was necessary to create israel.

I didn't say that israel "hates" arabs, but arabs do not have the same rights in israel. When israel was created, jews were a minority in the areas they wanted for the jewish state. Something had to be done to move out the arabs in order to create a jewish state. Even today, the ethnic makeup of israel is a major concern for policy makers. I know this isn't easy to hear, but it's the truth. Most people don't deny it anymore, they simply rationalize it or say it's for the best.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, so long as the rights of others are considered. I completely support the right of jews to live anywhere in the world they want, including palestine. But if israel wants to live in peace and security they're going about it the wrong way, and jews and palestinians are suffering because of it. People got angry over israel for a reason, and if jews want security they must look at the facts and try to resolve this situation politically, not militarily.

Hamas, elected in 06 as the Palistinian government said they didn't recognize Israel as a state. But since then have agreed to talks. Israel is the one who denies talks. They consitantly block ways to solve problems with Palistinians. And they constantly make the West Bank harder to live in.

Some people think a two state solution would be good, but personally I favor a one state solution. A democratic, secular state where all people have equal rights and religious freedom. Force has been tried for about the past 60 years, it hasn't worked and can't possibly work as long as someone is left to fight. Not all palestinians want israel wiped off the map, and a political solution is possible, but it has to address the refugee problem and both parties have to compromise.

can't tell if you are defending israel or not... but to answer your question about why other muslim nation not helping out
there are several reasons:
1. USA Military
2. NUCLEAR WEAPONS - Israel DOES HAVE atomic weapons! LOTS OF THEM!
3. muslim nations generally seek to make peace not war - it was US that attacked Afganistan and Iraq. Those countries did NOT attack US in any way. It has been Israel that attacked the nations around them, not the other way around.

INFOaboutISRAEL, What a lot of people forget is that besides the area´s the UN gave after WW2, the Palastinians SOLD big area´s that were practically waste land to Israel.
The Jews planted these area´s with seeds using there toes. Hard labour caused these area´s to flurish. Now Israel is beautiful country and all of a sudden Palastine wants it back.
