Absolutely Beautiful...No other words to describe this song. I've made the journey of my life through all kinds of music...Blues...Rock...Hard Rock...and so many others but I have NEVER heard anything more meaningful than the music that Kelly Joe Phelps creates. Just touches a part of my soul that no other music has. Keep on playing the music that needs to be made, regardless of record sales. Some musicians make music to make money. Some, sadly few, make music because it speaks to them

@bloodyfrets I'm glad I'm not the only one who has found Kelly Joe Phelps and found his music to be 'magical'. It's folk, blues, singer-songwriter, old style country, and so many other styles that it has become something of it's own. Tunesmith Retrofit is my favorite album of his. Now I've been inspired to learn to play fingerstyle guitar like him and write songs in the same vein. No, I will never be the player he is but if I can entertain my family, I'll be a happy man.
@guitarbenn58 Haha same here! Just ask my electric guitar! After 15 years of beating it gets to rest in the case for long periods. The acoustic is not that lucky though... ; )
This is the man who convinced me to put down the electric and pic up my acoustic and find my soul. That was 14 years ago and I have so much success thanks to this mans inspiration. Thank you Kelly Joe Thank you Thank you Thank you.
Thank you for this video of Kelly Joe and Corinne. I am always impressed by KJP. How does it find such a feeling and always in symbiosis with his guitar whatever the style (picking, slide, etc...). Hope to see them in a concert !
