Alexander Emilianenko is far from as provicient in Sambo as Werdum is in BJJ. There are very few guys in MMA better BJJ practitioners than Werdum, Roger Gracie, Damian Maia. And that's probably it. Werdum is a beast in his game. But he's got barely any takedown ability and weak stand-up. He capitalizes on over-confident opponents who take him down. And Alexander had never even been close to Fyodor in skill.

Look at the way he tapped, it was just one tap (as in he knew it).
