I also have a friend who's case is really accute and he has lost almost all pigmentation on his skin. What makes you say MJ was completely white? No, in 1990 Michael was still fairly brown. It was not until 1991, shortly before the filming of "Black and white" did he undergo Vitiligo treatment, or in other words, skin whitening. So in actuality, Michael was pale for only 18 years or so. I don't blame him for bealching his skin. I mean, he was an icon! People ridiculed Michael for saying he had a skin disease that made his skin white - they thought it was a lie to cover up the 'fact' that he was bleaching his skin. I've often wondered why he didn't just show the world his skin to prove he was telling the truth - but then it dawned on me - why should he - it's nobodys business. He felt embarassed by the vitiligo and wanted to hide it. Lisa Marie said that he would disappear into the bathroom in the morning and come out in full body makeup.

My Poor Baby! He struggled SO HARD to be perfect so that his father would not be disappointed in him. So he would not disappoint his fans! I know what he went through because I struggle with Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease, and insomnia. When I very first saw him in public (in pictures) covered in long sleeves and an umbrella in the summertime, I KNEW what he had. If you look at the very first photo you can still see the his skin is de-pigmented around the spider bite. Also his lupus can be seen very clearly in the two photos you put up. Notice the red butterfly shape on his face, that is a side effect of lupus.

Google "discoid lupus" & then click Images. You can see how discoid lupus can attack & destroy an ear, nose, face & scalp skin. Seal has scars & baldness from it. A Dr. on Geraldo said most of MJ's nose procedures were to deal with the way lupus was attacking his nose, & that he had shots of kenalog steroid into his nose to stop the inflamation or fix the scarring, & it shrinks the nose. If he had systeminc lupus too, that causes terrible joint pain & fatigue, pleurisy, etc.
