The whole reason we even HAVE treatment centers for people with those issues is because it's too difficult for most people to treat those issues by themselves! I think it's a depressing idea that women who do not fit into the current beauty ideal need to be talked into believing that they are beautiful anyway. The Bear community rallies against this image but it prevails in the mainstream gay community. The media image of the gay man would make you believe that all gay men are white, rich and thin. The fashion industry enforces this as well.
