The Varsity (voss'-a-tee) is a major landmark and an Atlanta icon, but the food is awful. Grease, grease and more grease. And no beer. Once is enough. But Atlantans are drawn again and again like moths to a flame to 61 North Avenue. If you really want a good hot dawg, go to Manuel's at 602 North Highland Avenue. You can have a beer too.
Pretty cool place. Got car-jacked once there and police responded quickly. The got into a chase with suspects. Suspects (thugs)crashed my car in the middle of I-75. Police snatched the thugs up as they tried to run away. They were crying and yelling "call the NAACP!! It was great! I will be back!
I found Atlantans so friendly and obliging, funny how they didnt want to say HI on cam. I never went to the varsity, but I did eat at Bobby and Junes diner on 10th ave. Thanks for this vid...I loved Atlanta!!!

The Varsity was awesome when i was visiting my Aunt a few years ago. Might i suggest an idea for a future outlet of you creative flow? I think that you should make a virtual tour of the underground and all its glory. I was just in awe the first time i saw it.

Please don't think that this is the only place we have to eat all day. Less than a mile away, I could have shown you multiple European-style restaraunts, or healthy ones, or ones with a Jamaican flare. It is all about variety, just like the YouTube community itself. We are all here to experience the beauty of our different cultures and the reassurances of our similarities.
