Using the clutch wastes time, you can change gear by just quickly dropping the power! Plus, they were hired bikes so I didn't really care how much abuse they got!

the quads are hired from a company called Al Badayer. The company is one of 4 companies at the Big Red desert in Dubai. It is about a 40 minute drive out of Dubai on the '44' road towards Hatta and the Oman border - just 1 straight road to get there and you can't miss the quad places on the side of the road.

These are 450cc Yamaha raptors and cost 250Dhs for about 1 hour - generally you can haggle for some extra time but they won't drop the price!
