  • Google earthonme hair care they have the best moisturizer for natural hair. You must try the product.

  • For the lady below (jeralee23), most educated people know there is no such thing as African American hair - with that said - most African Americans like to be called African American because it's better than being called "Black" - because for many of us it's rude and our skin is not freakin black. Besides, I've seen many "Biracial" people with some bad hair. So there is a such thing as African American hair if your don't make a big deal out of everything - like a white person!

  • HOW DO YOU GET YOUR DAT CURLY IN D FIRST PLACE IVE BEEN TRYING TO DO IT BT IONO HOW -__-

  • mixed much

  • Your hair is super cute. :o)

  • omg i looove you're hair =O

  • i just love african american hair.we can do whatever we want with it from nappy to locks to relaxer.love it

  • @jeralee23

there is no such thing as african american hair. That would suggest they they all have the same type of hair. But then again there African American is a inaccurate term anyways. What if your black Jamaican? Are you African? Why can't you just be Jamaican or American?

  • @1stwierdo this is exactly why i prefer to be called black. It has a wider meaning and does not single out only one part of m blood line. Mixed works too but we are all a little mixed. you are so right about the hair type!

  • Very pretty!

  • not fair your hair is already curly :(

  • omg! finally! somebody on youtube w/ my hairtexture!!! YAY!

  • im jelouss i want ur hairr, feel like crying my hair is all damaged and tangled and breaks apart when i pull it.

  • hey, are you 17 months natural in this video =) ???

  • What's your hair type? I got the same thing.

  • shampoo and a conditioner got ur hair so wavy???

  • @Tu51ndBl4d3 it's her natural hair texture. Some conditioners can define your natural hair type, but no products can create wavy or curly hair.

  • i have the same hair as you but i have to brush it all the time or else it gets pretty wild!!!

  • Hello nice hair.. Where do you get these products from? because the normal suave shampoo and conditioners make my hair seem stripped of moisture...

  • How do you get your hair curly like that? Or is it just the natural texture of how you hair is?

  • Wow! We have he SAME hair!!!

  • @karleo82

    the girls is mixed.

  • I love your curls. I'm considering going natural...someday :)

  • @TawanaNicole

hi :) its just a regular conditioner but i find leaving in some conditioner (any kind) helps keep my hair moisturized till the next wash. and when it comes time to wash my hair since its already conditioned as soon as water hit it, any tangles seems to slip loose by themselves. this makes my detangling session a breeze :)

  • @emgurl1234 slipping loose by themselves? THAT'S exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks!

  • My hair dried and I like the results. It's very defined, it has good sheen, its soft. I'm glad I found this process. Thank you emgirl!

  • it worked!! I have a tight curl pattern of hills and valleys (i have coils if i usea an oil or a buter which I don't usually use). my hair is thicker and kinkier in back, somewhat thicker and frizzy on one side and looser and thinner on the top. the other side is looser too. washed with rusk, christo's conditioner for 15 minutes, rinsed, added rusk calm condish, combed, raked sections, rinse some of product out, then smoothed (the palm smooth). my frizzy side didn't frizz. almost dry will b back

  • am not mixed with anything am full blood african do u think this product might work for me?

  • Your curls are so pretty!

  • schöne haare!!

  • Is that the only product you have on your hair? (The two shown at start.)

[ Just read in details that was all]

Wow! Your cuticle has lots of shine. Hairs looks very soft to the touch.

Thanks for the detangling tips. Now I know one thing I've been doing wrong.

Don't go by my profile photo. That's photo-shopped hair, lol.

Looking at your beautiful hair made me think of Chris Rocks documentary, "Bad Hair."

You would have made a good rebuttal that black hair can be beautiful if treated right.

  • really pretty :)

but you realy should use a moisturizer trust me, you won't regret it

your puurrdyy hair is gonna start breaking off !

  • hey like your video. I just have one question was your hair natural when you shot this or were you tex-laxing

  • @marieblu3

sry for the late late reply, ive been super busy the last while . this video was when i was still natural :)

  • @emgurl1234 so you're not natural now?

  • Hi,

I'm a first timer for your videos and enjoyed seeing your progression. I'm interested in your cut. Is the shape due to pro cut, trims (self). My hair is very long at the nape but I don't want to cut it just yet. I've been natural 2 years and wear a wavy bun style. My hair is fine and spiral curled as well. I'd love to wear it down but I'll try your products first to see if the curls stay loose or make the shape more natural. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. ;)

  • Hair twin!!!

  • wow soon as i saw ur hair im sub to u

  • Paul Mitchell Pommade is good to for holding the curls and cutting down on frizz!

  • Wow!..Now this is really beautiful & Iove the results you got, gotta try those.

  • im going to try the rusk conditioner

  • Your hair looks great! I use Garnier Fructis shampoo and Herbal Essence's :Break's Over" and "Hello Hydration" conditioners (as reg. and leave-in). I'm not certain what my hairtype is (3c/4a??).

  • black hair is so pretty. This will be the next step for me curl definition.

  • @808758 I agree...black hair is sooooooooooo much prettier and healthier looking to me....others maynot think s.o

  • cute hair!

  • OMG, how beautiful!!! How far post BC were you here?

  • omgggg ur hair is JUST like mine!!! im soooo glad i found u!!

  • I'm 19 and I've been transitioning since july '09 and its march '10. I want to do the big chop but i'm terrified and my mom told me that the doesn't think I should and she's gonna be mad and I'm going to egret it so I don't know what to do...

  • @Subaru009 You're farther off than I am. I started growing natural Dec 09, chopped some of it....not all. My hair is real short. I'm to impatient to wait 5 months before cutting it(my original plan) I'm going to chop it and get a wig....if i can't style it

  • Don't listen to your mom, its sad that she's an adult and hasn't grown out of being superficial. thats more than enough time of transitioning to have a pretty decent length of hair and i;m sure your hair beautiful

i just BC'ed after a 4 month transition and i havent been happier!

tell ur mom hair grows back and be brave, BC!

  • girrrrrlllll

    i'm 19 too!

i transitioned for about a year too. and yeah i got side comments from my parents, but it's hair. this is how it grows. What's wrong with that? No one gave me side comments when i was 5 and rockin' my own hair. why now?!?!? *sigh* anyway GOOD LUCK :D

  • @spicyeve good point!

  • @Subaru009 Girl!! If It's Something You Have Your Heart On And If Natural Is A Goal You Have For Yourself DO IT!! Im 17 && Did The BC A Month Ago. I'm Falling In Love w/ My Hair! I Understand the Pressure and Bein Young Worrying About What Others Think of You But You Have To Put It Aside! I Also Transitioned for A Year!! && The Length Im At I Am Completely Comfortable With! JUST DO IT GIRL!! No Regrets :)

  • Wow I have to finish using my products but after I'm done... I'm totally getting Paul

  • Your hair is beautiful! Thanks for the tip!

  • I SO WISH HAD YOUR LENGTH... I don't quite know how my hair curls up with length and weight like yours.. yet! :.(

  • gorgeous hair

  • Your hair looks really nice, Do you use a widetooth comb to comb it through or a denman brush?

  • Thanks :) I detangled with a widetooth comb. then fingercombed through once or twice before i give it a slight rinse.

  • Jeez! I got a good laugh about the photo, people notice everything!

Your hair beautiful, and it didn't look like this before Rusk?

  • oh my goodness, i just looked at a vid you posted in 8/09; your hair has grown so much in just 3 months!

  • @expertonmyself

hi! I changed from using tresseme to using rusk conditioners, because it seemed to give me less shrinkage.

however i did notice the growth spurt! last year around this time i got a nice growth spurt too. i use to think most people hair grew more in the summer but winter seems to be my lucky time :)

  • @emgurl1234 Oh wow. Summer has been so harsh on my hair. I'm glad winter is coming, thats' when my growth really comes out.! well mostly because i'm not sweating in the heat

  • Where do you find Rusk Calm?

  • Who is the white guy in the photo?

  • @GodlessCap

    My Husband :)

  • @GodlessCap HAHA you are one great observer.. I was just watching her bouncy hair. lol!

  • very pretty!

  • hey where do u get the paul mitchell shampoo and conditioner, and ur hair looks great

  • @MilanDior123

Thanks! I get it from my local salon :)

  • i love rusk calm! its my favorite conditioner. i never tried using it for a wash n go. i did notice when its in my hair it makes it look really defined. i might try leaving it on and see what happens

  • came out beautiful!!

  • I think it is odd that you do not consider your hair curly.

  • Gorgeous!

  • FAntastic results!!

  • Just beautiful!

  • Your hair looks amazing!!

  • It's looking good!

  • Turned out nice.

  • Beautiful!!!!!!!

  • Your curls are beautiful! I have a similar texture along the perimeter (the back of my hair has a tighter curl pattern and is drier). You're blessed to have uniformity! Thanks for sharing.
