Como no recordar esta cancion muy bien hecha, escuchenla con mucho cuidado ya en este disco no estaban todos los integrantes del Uriah Heep, linda composicion no lo creen.
Cut all of the bullshit...I am getting on in my years..I bought the "Demons and Wizards" LP when it first came out...This doesn't get me excited...Sorry,this track is not magic or even close..
for all the ones that write shit about sabbath, you don't know nothing about music, sabbath white thrash? no sense in the lyrics?
Tony, Ozzy, Gezeer, and bill where kids that see houses being destroyed by bombs, there lyrics are just great even more than the melody or riffs, N.I.B. satan fall in love with a human girl. Electric Funeral. Berningham destroyed. War Pigs, Politic people are shit and war pigs just making war like is about some game. Syptom of the universe. love just love. best lyrics
@jonniec7 Alexandre Dumas pere wrote over 400 historical novels exposing world tyranny(Roman Catholic Empire). Alexandre Dumas pere was born near Paris in 1802 and 'coincidentally' in 1902 The Society of Gesu(Jesuits) were expelled from France for the 3rd and last time. The Society of Jesu(Jesuits) have been expelled from 83 countries and their pope is ARAMIS AND HE IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE COUNT OF MONTE CHRISTO(GENERAL OF THE JESUITS).
@jonniec7 'I do not like the reappearance of The Jesuits ... If ever there was a body of men who merited damnation on earth and in hell, it is this society of Loyola's. Nevertheless, we are compelled by our system of religous toleration to offer them an asylum.' John Adams, 2nd President of the U.S.A
@jonniec7 SABBATH IS A WHITE TRASH MEAT EATING SON OF A BITCH DEMONIC BAND. ONLY A FUCKING MAGGOT WITH TATTOES WOULD LISTEN TO NIGGER SHIT LIKE METALLICA AND SABBATH. MAYHEM IS ANOTHER LOW MINDED INSECURE LOW LIFE PIECE OF SHIT BAND THAT SPIRITUAL BASKET CASES LISTEN TO.
@tralletone Generals gathered in their masses just like witches at black masses. This world is run by satanists. Obama is also a satanist. Alex Jones broke into Bohemian Grove in 2001 and filmed the elite worshipping Moloch. There are three things in the dictionary about Molech #1 Ancient semites offered him child sacrafice#2Moloch is the name for an australian spiny lizard.#3 picture of spiny lizard
@tralletone I do like the lyrics of War Pigs though. I dont like doom and gloom lyrics. I was under the influence of beer and angry also when I made earlier statement and wish I had not spoken so harshly. I do like Praxis with buckethead. They have no lyrics. My friend Michael Tsarion likes Kreator.I like Varg Vikernes also, but mainly for his views and deeds.
@scitsalcoryp Alexandre Dumas pere wrote over 400 historical novels exposing world tyranny(Roman Catholic Empire). ARAMIS IS STILL THE COUNT OF MONTE CHRISTO(GENERAL OF THE JESUITS).
Great song. writen by American Jack Williams [a friend of Hensley's]. Jack wrote some great stuff w/ Ken and for Heep [see The Hanging Tree, Inside The Mystery, Send Me An Angel, The Dance]
Great Band, one of my favorite Rock Singers, Mr John Lawton, Great Vocals, to me he was the best at the time, very strong high vocals, petty he didn't release more albums.
anyway knowing uriah heep this song not sounds like theirs but i love it a lot. This is to much powerful comparing their songs.Salisbury its greatest album for me.

Heck i listen to HEEP as much today as I did when i was a little kid {11yrs old 1973] Ace Frehley said it best: On your feet or on your knees bitch either you rock or you suck!
John Lawton was also in Lucifer's Friend before Uriah Heep, another great band. First time hearing this and it really rocks.Keep reading reviews that this album is'nt good, but hearing this it makes me think those critics are full of it.
Of all the comments Ive read this one is closest to reflecting my own sentiment. Most bought the album for Free Me..... for me it rates third behind the two tracks you mention.
@3sunswontshine Michael Tsarion is the worlds premier conspiracy researcher/lecturer/author. Dr. Bill Deagle, Leo Zagami, Jordan Maxwell, Alexandre Dumas pere and Auguste Maquette are highly informative as well. p.s. Melting Euphoria is similar to Ozric Tentacles and Gong.
Magic!!! Uriah Heep, Free and Kossoff's guitar, Deep Purple and Blackmore's guitar, Black Sabbath's Paranoid and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Wishbone Ash's Warrior and Persephone, Led Zep's Stairway To Heaven, Cream's White Room. The 1970s was full of great bands and great guitarists. That era cannot be touched...nothing else comes close.
@3sunswontshine Sabbath Bloody Sabbath yes. Paranoid, hell no. That song is so boring and tony didnt even use any effort making it. Its a song to fill the album up. Please check out Into The Void instead!
@3sunswontshine How could you forget to mention Nazareth??? Nazareth was a huge influence on the creation of metal whether you believe it or not they were very very influential on metal. That's a great shame that you forgot to mention Nazareth.
I am SO glad my dad introduced me to Uriah Heep straight from the get go. He gave me a copy of The Magician's Birthday when I turned 13 and I haven't looked back.
There is no doubt that John Lawton has a wonderful voice and he did make some great songs with Heep...It was just a chemistry thing with the original line up...you cant recreate it unfortunately. I think they came nearest to doing that with Lawton though....Peace.
I wish the John Lawton era would've been as huge as the David Byron era, I can't decide who I prefer between those two singers cause they're both great and it's hard to decide who I like better.
One of the most favorite songs of mine of the Uriah Heep with John Lawton. I remember how I'd been amazed when i heard this song in my late teens. Something sad, somthing magic, something beatiful - you can't explain it with words. Thank you very much for adding it!
