  • I'm 34 years old and i still can't watch this movie on my own. It scares the shit out of me.

Great video Herve. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Have you considered doing any location hunting for Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction?

  • Interesting, more videos about original filming locations :)

  • I knew that graveyard was fake and wasnt ghost busters made 2 years after this movie?

  • fantastic. oh and r.i.p heather you are the best xx

  • Could've done without all the 'Ghostbusters' garbage but otherwise a superb effort. Thanks.

  • Heather O'Rourke (December 27, 1975 – February 1, 1988)

    Dominique Ellen Dunne (November 23, 1959 – November 4, 1982)

  • Thanks for the videos

  • Cool video. Quick correction, however: the house is located at 4267 Roxbury STREET (as opposed to DRIVE) in Simi Valley.

  • Any info on the Holiday Inn at the end of the film? Also, do you know if the home has its own swimming pool? And what is the average cost of the homes in the area?

You referenced Heather O'Rourke's untimely passing but not Dominique Dunne, who was murdered shortly after 'Poltergeist.'

  • Keep doing these videos. They are simple amazing!

  • love your vids there incredable

  • Some things changed in comparison

  • i too love your location videos, i also adore the Alien franchise and enjoy ghostbusters, but putting them into a video about poltergeis was irritating.

  • Great job my man.. Heading to Martha's Vineyard for Jaws in a month.. Wish you could join.. Best.. Dominic

  • Astonishing, funny and actually quite moving. No-one does these as good as you!

  • A request: M*A*S*H, both Movie and TV, shot at Malibu Creek State Park.

  • Great work Herve!

  • Once again, great work

  • I was 10. I got rid of my stuffed animals the next day.

  • Nice work once again. You've done a great job tracking down movie locations. I recently visited the Illinois high school from "The Breakfast Club." It was converted into a police station and the cops dragged me in for questioning after they saw me taking pictures of their facility. Now, it makes a funny story, but it wasn't too damn funny when I was going through it!

  • I would have loved to see Herve do his impression of the white beast as he did for the head that came out of the closet...i mean: CLASSIC!

  • This film scared the Heck out of me when i was young, amazing!

Sorry Herve not as tight as your last ones, but still great : D

Please keep them coming! : D

  • You wonder if the current owners of the house ever watch Poltergeist and get a little creeped out?

  • Would be nice to add Google Maps locations to all the movies you made. I did it for my favorite First Blood which you brought back on the map again with your excellent research and movie editing.

  • Excellent work once again Herve. A pleasure watching as always. Can't wait to see Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

  • hahahahahaha you were in a strange mood when you made this video but il ike it hahahaha nice mix

  • Great job again my friend!!! I always look forward to your postings. I can tell you work VERY hard on these...TERRIFIC!!!

  • Loved the location work as usual, but for once i think you made a mistake by putting in the Ghostbusters and Aliens references. To me watching your mini movies is always a treat i look forward to,but this time there seemed to be more emphasis on spoofing Poltergeist than spending time on the locations.Sorry to complain but i just feel you could have done a lot better this time, but it still doesn't stop me from thinking you are a great talent and i look forward to your next postings. Thanks Herve

  • @paulallan1000 Well, there aren't a lot of locations to show for Poltergeist.

All the interiors scenes such living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom exterior of the front porch, backyard and swimming pool were shot on soundstage.

Adding Ghosbusters and Alien (for the connection with Dana/Ripley) is not a mistake but a attempt to make this video more entertaining. :)

Thanks for commenting and Happy 4th july!

    -Herve

  • @HerveAttia The Hotel is still down in Silver Lake.. A few upgrades have been made... but it still has the same structure if you ever wish to add on

  • @pacedom1 I've looked at the Silver Lake Hotel many times and it just doesn't bare any resemblance to he Holiday Inn in the movie. 3 floors instead of 2, stairs in the wrong place, not nearly as many windows, etc. I'm just not convinced it's the same hotel.

  • @paulallan1000 I Have to a agree with you on this one, not quite as good. The Close Encounters material was fantastic, I recomend buying the DVD its OUTSTANDING!!! Thanks Herve!!!! Love your work, we will do lunch, my people with talk to yours lol.

  • Ferris Bueller's Day Off....Another wonderful movie.....

  • Brilliant combination of 3 of my all time favorite films!

  • You are amazing! Love your vids! Have you ever considered doing Back to the Future or even Jaws?

  • @jedijerdrums I will be visiting "Back to the future" locations in October. I promise I won't do any spoofing on it. LOL ;-)

  • @HerveAttia Awesome! Can't wait to see it. Don't forget to bring an extra flux capacitor with you! lol

  • I have said this before, you should be more popular on youtube! your videos are awesome!
