I lost my place in the scene when it all split in 94. The 4/4 beats took away those luscious basslines, and the jungle heads just got too dark, and too fast to really last the weekend!

yup. I was gutted when the happy hardcore era took a hold of jungle back in 94/95. SMD, DJ Seduction, DJ sy, Tango & Ratty, etc, but it did paved the way for more, absolute lunatics to dance to in clubs.

yes mate with you there! I think the change in drug preference changed the scene, its a shame but its up to a new generation to bring it all back (the vibe that is). The R&B/pop thing is too posey,with rave it was all about just dancing not "looking cool"that why I loved it

@coolguyike - I went to jungle mania last week and kin harcore afew months ago in London and there was a pretty good atmosphere lots of people up for dancing. Its hard to re-create something that was special first time round though
