ther is a monster in the river ,, it lives under the underwater shelf, it pulls swimmers down and eat thems

These waters are very dangerous. People commit suicide there, that's what it's known for. If you plan to float it or swim please ask the locals about it...they will tell you how dangerous it is.

yup, most the people that commit suicide from the bridge are never found. I know a navy seal that trains there. They are roped because there is a 100ft shelf under the water. The currents hit the shelf and drop towards the bottom.

Deception Pass is in Washington State between Whidby and Fidalgo Islands. The current can get even faster than 8 knots; up to 12 or more, I believe. Did you see the video of swimmers in Deception Pass?

if your thinking of swimming in it, don't! To put it simply, you will most likely die, on a calm day.
