A basic summary of "Technics vs. Vestax"...

Technics - brand name, platter stability and overall durability

Vestax - high specs (motor, torque, tonearm, etc) and platter not as stable as Technics'

ie.

scratching/juggling = Vestax > Technics

durable/stable (ideal for clubs) = Technics > Vestax

Vestax's are good Cross faders(mixers) But for a pair of decks... Go with Technics. But if your gonna buy some from like Gutair Center. Ask for "DIRECT DRIVE TECHNICS TURNTABLES" You dont want any turntable with a belt drive if you wanna get into the scratching zone. trust me on this. I'm a turntablist myself.
