i have an ipod 4th gen.

i plugged it in to do it all i did was perss update it asked me to download something and i did

i tried doing it and it says network but its connected and works fine why wont it update!

I hav a 3.1 iPod and everytime I try 2 update my iPod it comes up with backing up and it takes forever and when it's almost finished backing up it just stops.

Can tell me wat 2 do please?

dude i cant update my ipod ot says i need to check the internet connection but the internet is working fine. any idea how to help? my ipod is 3.1.3 and i cant download most apps cuz it isnt the right firmware
