whole build was done in one sitting about 10 hrs (because it was my first)....as for the cable management, if you know what you are doing, and have preplanned the layout it may take 1 - 3 hrs...if you are fumbling in the land of ignorance like I was it could take 4 - 6. Check out TJ harlowe's vids...he's a genius at this shit.
alright so when i get this case i am going to install a liquid cooling radiator to the top of this case i should have my power supply facing down or up?
Dont know if you are aware, might not make any differnece but if you read the haf manual it says that you should install your power supply fan side down, i dont know why maybe its so it doesnt interfere with the cases designed air flow? howeve i did consider putting mine fan side up to help suck out hot air, but i didnt its sucking in cool air and blowing it straight out the back of the psu.
man.. message me a website or video on how to disassemble the front "red fan". I have found out that my front fan hasn't been working on my haf932.. All cables are connected right, red light glows. Please help..
TJ is good but this guy has done a great job also. Very good cabling job. I also recommended this case to my bro. I myself have the Antec 1200 ready for my new build.
yes the ABS tagan BZ series (power supply) has a bottom intake fan, this case has a meshed floor to allow intake airflow. There is also the option of mounting the PSU in the usual place, at the top. Of course for a bottom mount a dusty floor may turn your PSU into a vaccum, but I keep a clean house so...
Case fans run run at a whisper...the Zalman CPU fan sounds like a cross between a Jet engine and an Australian pig hunt. It doesn't bother me, I like jets and pig hunts. Even if you dont like the over-sized case fans you could replace them with smaller ones. But if youre looking for a quieter build, avoid the zalman.
Asus P5Q deluxe motherboard, Dual Core Processor, (overclocked to 3.44 ghz), 4Gigs of corsair ram (ddr2), 2 Radeon HD 4850 Video Cards in CROSSFIRE, 2 500Gig WD raptor hard drives, 1100Watt ABS Tagan Power supply, Pioneer blu-ray drive and of course the Haf 932 case, oh and a zalman CPU fan.
I love that case! Your transitions are a little laggy, but nice video. Your cable management is good, but watch some of TJharlow videos, he has great cable management.
thats a good start, looks like you got the basics down, could be ALOT cleaner tho.

Did you have to mod the case at all for the wiring?
Think I could squeeze a 8800GTX in there?
Ekabz 3 years ago
nope no case mods at all, and you could park an SUV in there, trust me its bigger than my dorm room...

Does the psu suck air in from the bottom of the case?
